Baldness

My uncle has fit girl, he's bald, and hasn't got ton's of cash.

The trick is to get the girl and slap the ring on her when you're young and still have hair. Then she can't do anything about it when you start getting bald.

Of course my wife thinks bald men can be sexy. I think she's trying to make me feel better though, so I'm still thinking about getting plugs.

Listen, their are plent of chicks that would love to be with a masturbating bear. Seriousely though, it's not hard to find a chick, but then it depends how seriouse a relationship your after, but if you go clubbing every Friday, chances are you'll meet plenty of good looking singl ladies, it's just a case of chatting for a few mins and if you like what they say, ask for their number.

*puts on thinking cap*

Hmmm... maybe that isn't a bad idea. I'd love to be married allready. Only problem though is that my girl is 16 years old. I don't think she would go for it.

I like having long hair right now, I don't even want to think about what I'll start doing when my hair begins to leave me.
You mentioned stress, I for one do believe that has to do with the problem, the other factor being the family connection. Seems awfully early to be losing your hair in your twenties though.

And now that you mentioned "cap", the whole concept that wearing caps will result in hair loss hasn't been proven, has it? Last I heard was that if you wore them for extended periods of time (the majority of the day) it could attribute, but I'm still not sure I believe that.

I've started to wear one just to keep the wind from blowing my hair all over the place. When I'm inside I don't like to keep it on, a ponytail will suffice then.

Well, You'll be able to add "shiny head" to your profile soon enough (wait, no. That was one of my teachers). I'll still accept you so long as you don't start waxing your crown; because that's when the trouble starts...
(BTW, sorry for being such an *** yesterday; heck, just in general...)

I wear a baseball hat almost 24/7 and have been doing so since I was about 14. If that is part of the problem then I won't be surprised.

I've also wondered if this was a cause. My hair has definately thinned out and receeded. It's not to bad now but it is noticeable. I used to wear hats all the time, I even have to wear a hat for work.
In the last few years or so, I've stopped wearing a hat so often and my hair loss has seemed to stop.
I'm not sure if I'm going to lose more as I haven't seen a change in my hair in the last couple of years.

I wonder if me quitting drinking had anything to do with the slowing down of my hair loss?

Either way, I've just come to accept it. If someone isn't going to like me due to my hair line then that is someone that I should be spending my time with anyway.
I've thought of doing something about it, but with my current train of thought concerning my hair loss, I've never really gotten serious about changing it.

If it happens, it happens. Meh.

Im only 16 now so nothing is happening but I think ill go bald to because of my family history.... I dont want to be bald :(

Baldness is inherited from your mother's father (in other words, grandpa on your mom's side)... if he's bald, you have a certain chance of being bald (I forget if it's 50% or 25%... haven't done genetics in so long). The mother always carries the gene, so it doesn't matter what your father's side is like.

Well, I haven't done any research on whether environmental factors play into it at all... I just know the inheritance crap, from a discussion my bio teacher had in 7th grade. :D

I'm balding and greying - and I'm only 33. Nothing a 'zero' cut can't take care of. It's not the worst thing in the world.

It is a bit of a bummer, though.

My hair is starting to recede, and I can't stand it. I have very long, thick wavy hair both in the front and back. It now has two breaks in the front of it and it's starting to look bad. The woman said it looks fine, and the boys think it's still cool looking, but I notice the difference. Getting old sucks. My hair and beard started to get a little grey, but my doctor put me on vitamin supplements, and it went back to my regular color.

I have a question for your Rumple.

Do you put alot of dyes, gels, or anything of the like into your hair? Because I have a friend thats 20 years old and has the head of a 45 year old. Mainly because he would gel and dye his hair.

Do you stress too much by chance?

Since I'm also going bald...I'm shaving my head over the summer. What do you think if I leave just a bit of hair making a nice, distinct outline of a big "8" on my head? :p

If I wasn't wearing my hat I was putting gel in my hair.

I thought that maybe it could hurt too though. Mayb somehow all that gel and crap kills the follicle or makes it easier for your hair to fall out.
