Try reading the Banned User Log which is stickied at the top of this very area of GT Planet. It explains clearly and concisely why certain members were banned. Usually they can't adhere to GT Planet's relatively simple rules for posting, and become abusive about it when it's explained to them.
Otherwise it's people trying to advertise on here which is a huge NO-NO!

Because it is necessary. As others have already mentioned, check the Banned User Log and note what others have done to get banned. Don't imitate their actions, and you'll be fine.

In the end, it will be your actions, not your signature, that will save you from being banninated.

And make sure your signature stays at 6 or less lines (which it is)
