I dont understand much about aerodynamics, but it looks smaller and less clumsy to me, especially towards the rear.

don't you think it's weird how the nose cones of F1 cars started out on the floor, then Benetton pioneered the raised nose and all the other teams followed suit. Now the noses are beginning to get lower and lower again.
