How 'bout the Williams race at the Nurburgring. Me: dead last lap 1, KO Brad lap 2, finish 4th :D CCY gets 6th. :)

That's what happens if you don't have a secure connection Scott, sorry but that's the way it has to be.

...and if you know your can't always get on BATracer, get your teammate to look after your account for you (a la me at school, Yoshi is looking after it).

ROC news: (copy paste from HAGII at BAT F):
me
New Hampshire: qualify 16th, get to 13th at end of lap 1.

However, my heavy fuel load had other ideas. By lap 24, I was 23rd (due to a unscheduled pitstop).

A Safety Car saved my bacon - lap 65, I was 2nd. Lap 66, I pit, drop to 18th, and took me until lap 106 to penetrate the top 10 again.

Lap 132, 3rd, pit, drop to 13th (2 laps behind 1st!), Lap 168, 5th (+ 1 lap).

SC comes out laps 186 - 192, lap 193 I'm 4th, only to lose two positions on lap 195, which is where I finish.

P23 at one stage to P6 atf is pretty good, eh?

Unfortunately, the teammate that was leading the championship (Winstane Chia) gets punted off, and Nathan Skelly picks up his fourth successive win, and takes over the championship lead.

My team is 2-3-4 (me in third, tied with other teamie Loris Pasini on 105 points)

edit: Just re-watched the Nurb, and noticed Dubois caused 3 DNFs in that race alone  Those Hondas are evil things, I tell you...

Really? Dubois has quite a bit of ground to make up...
*looks at recap, eyes bug out*
Maybe then

blahblahblah bs about delay.

Here it comes:
CCY's Destruction Index, Round Whatever: (Nur) Burger Ring
Random observations as I tally the stuffs up:
- So Renault botched quali and ended up P1 and P5. Isn't life fair?
- Also, Ms. Bee notched up the first quali mistake/safe error for her car in quali. Surprising when everyone else has like 3 in that column.
- Horton needs launch control - 3 messed up starts so far.
- Beyens and Trendell had their first collisions this season - with each other.
- Dubois disabled his opponent in each of his THREE collisions, but the payback got worse each time: first no damage, then a loss of time, then a forced pitstop. He was smart (relatively) not to have a 4th/5th incident!

The overall destruction factor (new term, woot) was a bit lower this race than Imola, a 3.5 per driver average compared to 3.9. Incidentally, that figure drops to 3.0 when you take out Dubois.

In other news, guess who's the destruction leader this race!

Yeah, that's right, Guillaume Dubois. Yeah, you. Mister "I took out 3 other cars and all I got was 15 DI points". I should let you know that's more points than some people have gotten the whole season. Including you. Until now, anyway.

Don't give me that "I'm 2nd in the WDC stuff." Now, you're 3rd in the DI. :sly:

Other high scorers include the usual suspects: Charky and Sharky scored 8, while King Bee nailed a solid 7.

Surprisingly there were quite a few clean races: Smith, Chang, Kawasie, and Dunstan all scored 0 DI points but racked up a few for the "real" championship, while Keller got a goose egg in both.

As for the main standings:
Burnout Bee Davidson maintains his 1st place with 39 points after a decent showing at the Ring. He's gained points over Double Danny Graham who keeps second with 30 points, although he lost a point to the leader. 3rd place for the 27-pointers is crowded with Second Place Man gaining 2 spots after being taken out, OneTon Sharky gaining 5 and charging fast after having a few collisions and bobbles in this race, and everyone's new favorite hitman Guillaume Dubois who jumped a staggering FIFTEEN spots in the standings after his entertaining and very violent race. Appie Charkaoui gets up 3 to 6th after a decent showing ending in a DNF, although he's ranked higher before. Femme Fatale Taylor had a pretty clean race, which forced her down to 7th, down 5. 8th is a 4-way tie between David Smith, down 5 who is settling down and actually racing cleanly (and finishing), Yameth Zemahj and Luke Mason who both dropped 3 after also scoring only a single point in the race. Tag Schwarz makes a great effort to gain 6 spots after a 6-point last race, and he rounds out the top 10 in that 8th-place tie.

Still in last but now making it close is Simon Trendell, the last man on the grid with single digits (9 points), although he suffered his first DNF in the last race.

Ash, is there a place where I can check out the requirements for GP4? I want to know if I can play it :D

Eh, it looks like crap, but you get the picture.

no probs:tup:

and a good Qualifying of me and now is Danny's turn start at the back of the grid:lol:

You know you're not doing well when you're taking turns to start at the back of the grid.

Bram:

Brad's latest R was my fault (:(), and Dubois took out Appie, Danny and "Tag" in the same race.

Hey guys, I'm back from a weekend of racing in Sydney :)

Sorry about all the driver swapping Bee, we couldn't really do any better, and letting Monique take over the RBR seat would've been hell for Beyens.

So this current setup will work the best.
