The ferrai is quick, but i'm not much slower :)

If i don't have bad luck again, i'm going to be on the podium.
 
ATTENTION ALL TEAMS BESIDES RENAULT:

The nurb is going to have spike strips layed out at random points on the map. The directors wanted to give the race a Mariokart feel. They need some better turnout.

Anyway, to prepare for this turn of events, it is strongly advised that you turn down your pace slider to zero, as you all (besides Renault) will need the added steadiness.

Unfortunately my teammate retired with clutch trouble. But on the upside, both Hondas retired! :)
 
You guys spooked me for a second. I forgot about 06. ;) 30 minutes for 02.

When are we starting the new season, anyway? Just directly after you guys finish your current 06 season?
 
We'll probably wait a few days so everyone has enough time to join in.

I can't believe that crap, man. I was miles ahead in first and klerx and I would've 1-2'd. This sucks.
 
That's the bad luck i've been having.
At least our team is ranked first.
 
I would've been less pissed off had I not gone out 4 laps before the finish line, especially after leading the race by over 20 seconds for 47 laps.
 
A podium in the '06 helped me stay in touch with the leaders, but I still need another win to make sure I can challenge for a championship podium.
 
2nd place for me in the 06 keeps me ahead of my team mate in the championship and in touch with 2nd in the constreuctors.
 
omg people of the world the champcar series is up! Is anyone going to make a GTP champcar series? I can only own 1 private game so cant do it so is anyone else willing to make it?
 
we'd better do things one step at a time, ashley. Handling 4 race series is a pain in the ass.
 
OOhhh. I am annoyed. In mine and Bee's side game, i qualied pole, intended to do a long first stint on hards, then two short stints on softs. After the first lap my driver decides that is not the right tyre choice and changes to softs. Dropping me to last place.

So after one long stint and two short stints on softs (one of which was horribly worn after practice and quali), I manage to get myself into the lead, then drop to second behind Bee after the final pitstops. Only to crash on the last lap. :banghead:

AND it was my home race AND I had a 100% spot on setup..

I had a weird race.
7 people didn't finish the race.
Everybody was prepared for dry conditions and suddenly the weather changed to monsoon.
Finished the race on intermediate tyres :) placed 8th
 
Hello, I'm back from my dads. Man, no internet for 2 weeks really sucks the big one. So people, what I miss?

EDIT: ok ok ok, just gone back abit and read a pm from Bee about next seasons seats. I seen alot of talk about people wanting to get into a Ferrari seat, but I'd just like to state here and NOW!.... I am sticking with Ferrari, I've had two wins in that car, so I'm not leaving. lol
 
Pole for Silverstone in 2002. And it's my home race.
 
i haven't seen this mentioned yet, so i will. If anyone hasn't seen it, there has been a Champ Car Generic carset now added, which features 3-car teams and 200-lap oval races!

EDIT: oops, just saw that ash mentioned it. Sorry!
 
Man, looks like my pit strat backfired on me. I was carrying way too much fuel to be competitive. Least I got 4th.

- Beyens To Stay At Ferrari.

Despite intense speculation of Nathan Hedberg joining Ferrari to partner Blake Haswell, Jef Beyens had the last laugh as it was confirmed last night by the team in a statement read by a spokesman:

"We are delighted to keep the services of Jef Beyens for another season. The contract was signed ealier today and Jef will be in the lead Ferrari for next season."

What this means for Hedberg is to either keep his seat at Williams, which American Jow Blow is rumoured to have had talks with Frank WIlliams for, or a move to a team thats a little further down the grid such as Red Bull.
