P.S - My respect for Proton has just gone up a notch.

Having the best car doesn't mean having the best season.

So? Three others had the same car. Danny also had Thinker.

Show me another LMES season with the winner having twice the points of the runnerup? And with 15 out of 16 possible podiums? And 8 wins?

This achievement is stunning. Period.

So just because i said that he had the best car, of course he had an great season, but the car plays a role too you know. So those rolleyes were unnecessary.

In LMES, the cars are a lot closer in performance than you think they are appie ;)

My respect for Danny has just increased a billionfold.

IM NOT SAYING HE SUCKS!! I just said that he had an good base car to begin with. I was in that game aswell and i always saw how Danny owned in his class.

Danny you did a superb job. (or else anyone here will burn me alive here)

Gah. The Fezza in my Public championship edged me out by .007 seconds in warmup. :grumpy: He can never seem to finish a race though, So I think I'm gonna podium. :)

I know you're not.

Every car is a good base car, the main factor in performance is tyres, imo.

Proof in point: my public LMP2 with Josip Kelava, we're in the Zytek 03S, Kumho tyres.

I have five poles from ten races (4 3 1 1 6 1 2 1 2 1 - - - - - -), yet in the race we lack speed. Different tyres are faster in different sessions.

In every class, Yokohamas have the highest average points per driver.

My teamie in MR2 is constantly going awol. The sacking process is taking way too long.

Can someone replace him? (Not that we're doing so well!)

Game id: 21806

You are replacing Matthew Parr

I still kick-ass at Total Mayhem. I got into the other game via midseason just in time for the Vancouver race.

And finish second. Having made my pitstops from third, first, first and first.

Teammates third and fourth to boot XD

Bring on the finale at Laguna :D

CCY's game, you know, the one where the aim is to cause as much carnage as possible while still winning?

God I love Champcar.

I could actually do with the game being deleted, but that's just me... I'm having a slight slot shortage - I need three private slots but only have two free, and the third would open up more than two weeks from now :(

As for me, I won another MR-2 World Series race today. :D

This time, it's in a Private game w/my Teammate CCYoshi coming in 2nd. ;)👍

I'm 2nd in points trailing the leader by 1 as we cross the Atlantic for the next race.

Yeppers. ;)

I'm waiting for the livery design from CCY as we speak. :) I'll show it off to you when I get it.

Going back to this for a second, I thought that Dunlop and Goodyear were the best tires in the game?

I'm not sure about other series, but I thought Michelins were pretty good all-around in LMES; it may just be its popularity but looking in the archive of my games, Michelins have taken a majority of championships. This might just be due to its popularity in usage though.

Goodyear from what I've seen and heard is fastest in the wet, but in other conditions, maybe not so.

Dunlop, I don't know. Haven't seen a lot of people use them for some reason. No more than 1 a class, and even then rarely.

Then again, I've done no scientific testing, so I can't say much that these are the tires and not the drivers. But really Sharky, you think the tires and not the cars?

(Argh, now we need 2 private LMES: one for TMIII and one for experimentation.)

Kumhos, not Goodyears ;)

Going back to my public LMP2 with Kumhos, Josip (Kelava) took pole for Istanbul, that makes six poles for the team in twelve races. When we had a wet race, he won by a mile. When we get dry races, we are mid-pack.

Yes, I firmly believe it's the tires and not the cars ;)

Metar: I'm running WWW alongside Concentration and Thinker. During a dry race... ho hum. My WWW laps are at least .2 sec slower than my Conc. laps. Lesson learnt - only pick WWW if you're going to take two faster chars.
