Nyagh, I seem to be plagued with bad luck of late! I managed to land a mid-season drive ain a V8 Supercars game plced third overall and with just six or so races left ... and ended up losing three places over all. I don't think I much like the V8 Supercar games.

Hopefully it's turning around though: I managed to land a Ferrari drive in an F1 2007 game and my teamate WR in the 180s ...





Now I just need to find some way of doing a helmet. Someone on another forum created the Bondmobile for the new James Bond film Quantum of Solace:

I just have to work out how to do a helmet up ... I'm no good at any kind of art. If it's not too much to ask, is there someone out there willing to do me a helmet in the 2008 Honda motif? Please? I'll be eternally grateful (or for the next five to eight minutes, whicever comes first) if you do ...

Me? Nah, just the one. I've won two privates (Total Mayhem II.5 outright, technically GTPF1 S13 as I was first GTPer)

Update (Using friends PC)

I've reformatted my C: drive, and have downloaded most of the updates. I'll hopefully get it working properly tomorrow. :)
 
I *almost* won Silverstone in the Aguri.

Lap 46 of 60, I had a 7.4 second lead over my TM.

Lap 47, concerned with steering, lost track position. Dropped to third, 0.660 behind second place. :(

Took second place on lap 52. TM won, me second.

Not bad from 14th and 12th on the grid respectively, eh eh? :D

Oh, and I had a killer lap 22, passed BOTH second AND first place that lap :D

edit: Oh yeah, it's:
1. a Ferrari 57
2. TM 56
3. the other Ferrari 36
4. yours truly 24
5. a Red Bull 20

Teamie's run: 1 6 3 2 12 8 2 1 1 (yes, THREE wins so far!)
My run: 12 4 13 15 8 10 5 3 2

Every race so far has had either a Ferrari or Aguri on the podium (sometimes both!).

Oh, and we've had a car upgrade XD

For that, I should disable team co-op in BTCC :P

Continuing on from that Aguri, Nurburgring.

Lap 49 of 60, 8.5 second lead over the second-placed Fezza.

Lap 50, "concerned with steering", out of the race.

Second bloody race in a row steering cost me a win!

I hate BAT right now. At least I won a V8 race overnight...

Well, the fans are looking for some good, close finishes to the races, right?:sly:

As to the BTCC, I wrecked the car on my first practice lap in the steady rain. :(
