Is there list of the info about the characteristics? (As in: if you pick this, you can do that more, etc.)

I'm wondering what sliders you can take advantage of based upon the different characs you pick.

In my '09 Toyota game, I've picked pole sitter king and consistent. In my '09 BMW game, I've picked consistent and comitted. Any tips for using these characs to their fullest advantage?

Man, the '09 Toyota is a really good car. I feared I would get pwned by the Brawns in my current '09 public. After the first race, in which I had to start from the back, and finished out of the points due to too aggressive driving (teammie finished 2nd though...), I qualified 1st at Sepang :D Left the competition standing, 2nd was a Williams at 0.3 seconds, and the Brawns were behind me over half a second 👍 Can't wait for tomorrows race :D
 
As for my 3 public F1 2009 games:

1. Toyota, started from pole, got hit by a Brawn car from behind, finished 4th with teammie 1st, we're kicking ass. We lack serious pace in the test sessions, but during qualify and race it's the other way round, shows how much testing means 👍

2. BMW Sauber, started from 3rd, with KERS to test it out, had no problems during the race, finished 4th. Am happy with the result seeing a guy ranked 2nd in BATracer overall drives the Williams, and another guy in the top 10 overall as well...

3. Williams, had a bad setup, but partly thanks to wisdom, qualified in 2nd, just 0.001 seconds behind the pole car. This is the closest qualifying session I've ever been in. (Well, seeing 3rd position was 0.35 seconds off, it wasn't that close :lol:)

There are some serious fast guys in my games, hope they can cranck my performance up 👍
 
How does KERS work in BAT?

Also, there was this record-section in the BATracer forums showing something like the whole top ten within a tenth...
 
KERS gives you easier overtaking and blocking, but with a decrease in reliability. I had my mech slider at 75 first, I put on KERS and put it back at 65, never had problems during the race, and passing went great thoughout the race. I went through my pitstop laps only to find out that even with tyre usage at 80, the hards get worn at a minimum, and the softs are looking good as well. I've set that one now at 100 to see how this affects the next race. I'm only concerned about the softs, but I'm always going for a fast first stint, the hards should cope a 100 slider smoothly :)

Singapore was a bust. Incompetent setup work and incompetent qualifying. Got to push hard to race for the title.



As for tyres: Hats off to you if you somehow chew through a set of hard tyres. They're hard as a rock.

And people can make it through a race without problems with 65 sympathy and KERS?
 
Well I did, 65 isn't exactly very high. People like Hector Hennon run their sliders at full, and most of us are in mystery how they get so lucky. BAtracer is just a game of pure luck, you can crash out with a 55 slider while somebody else wins the race at a 90 slider :)

I've always been tough on mechanical sliders, never had any difficulties with them, I've had more troubles with driver errors, while my pace slider is never above 75...
 
Wow, are the Force Indias fast in the wet or what?! I mean, me and my teammate got around to get our setup all spot on on our BMW during practice. Setup converted, swapped up the inters for the qualifying session, and we placed 2nd and 4rd. The Force Indias came out of nowhere with only 12 runs together for two drivers instead of our 16, and they pwned the whole field with a whopping half a second in the last session. They were constantly in the top 5 during the two previous sessions :eek:

Man, after my publics are over, I'm entering a Force India for a good challenge 👍
 
12 points in the lead now, as unfortunatley my team mate took out Appie my main rival. 2 races to go, A strong points finish next race above Appie could seal it.

EDIT: Appie Im sorry you got taken out but you can't really blame Danny, you can never tell whats going to happen on this game.
 
But dude he can't choose to hit you off it's just a browser game, he didnt set you as his rival or anything these things happen in batracer. :(
 
Also, there are 3 people that can win the title, myself, Appie and lee Pillay. However for him to win I would have to score 0 points in the final 2 races and he win both.
