Now for those who may be joining us in this thread for the first time, whats about to happen next is this. We put the numbers into a hat and draw 6 of them out. the numbers that are drawn - based on where they finished in the season that just concluded - will have to go to another team for next season. The drivers that have survived the 'Lethal Lottery' will have the first chance to say if they want to keep their current seat or not. But they only get a limited number of time to respond(usually a week). I'll accept your selection either in this thread or via PM on GTPlanet or BATracer. I'll accept you're responses and have them sorted out via the times on the post or PM. For those who have been sacked and have to go elsewhere you can state your wishes which team you would like to race for in the following season. But if the team you want to race on is currently full, you'll be put on a waiting list. If the slot becomes vacant after the deadline, you'll be able to take the slot that opens up.

Lethal Lottery Result
5. Bert Murrary
15. Dan Hall
19. Randy Morgan
20. Ion Ansotegi
21. Edwin Langeveld
26. Patryk Bigos

I'll take the other Ferrari seat if Duncan doesn't take it, otherwise I'll have the McLaren. If that's taken I'll take the Williams. If that's taken I'll take the Force India.

Players will need to be registered and logged in before they can enter the private game. When logged in, clicking the following URL will take you to the join game page:

http://batracer.com/-cj?&D&58053

Alternatively, you can select "private games" from the menu and enter the number "58053" into the box. The game password is "thirtyseven". Take care not to accidentally join a public game by mistake.

Better hot-foot it - so to speak. I plan on starting this tomorrow.

Sorry about that. But there's always next season for you. :(

If anyone would like to join me in the public '09 Red Bull;

PW: woo
Home Race: Monaco
DCs: Speed Demon, Control Freak

:)

Don't mean to double post but I thought I'd quickly mention I'm one missed-session away from sacking my teamie. If anyone wants in, keep your eyes peeled. :)

Can I make a suggestion for the lottery? Would it be possible to have the champion exempt? It is unlikely that a team would sack a driver who just won the championship.

Let me know. :)

Interesting idea Dunc, and thanks for suggesting I am exempt, cause I might just win this. lol

Believe it or not, I've been doing something like that since taking over running the series. :sly:

I'm fed up with this crap, I could say more, but I will hold back and just confirm that batracer is not yet programmed suitably to support an F1 series. So if anyone wants my seat at Renault/Reno they can have it.

Well I'm in a series where the guys in the Renault cars been doing quite well ...
