I think I'll stick with BMW next season. Don't exactly fancy Ferrari right now.

Allman Harshly Rejects Ferrari Offer

AP - Jarrett Allman, current driver of the BMW Sauber Formula One car, was offered a seat-swap with Ferrari driver Ashley Butler today. His response was:

"I honestly do not think Ferrari would do me any good. Will Whitcomb, My next season teammate, is 11th in points. Chris Taylor is 19th. I would definitely prefer a good teammate, as I have been down this road before. To put it simply, Chris Taylor just isn't good enough for my likings. I understand I am last in this season's points, and that I have taken a 4 race leave, but this was due to personal reasons. That aside, I am officially at BMW for next season. No changes will be made."

And there you have it folks. Sheer dedication to his team.

Is SA going too make a surprise?

The Manager of the SA declared shortly afterwards of the end of another GP, that they still in the fight of top 3 in pilots, and why not.. Manufacturers top 3!
- Domingues is in good shape, and its speed on track has come to increase. who knows, he does not create a surprise this year, and finish at top 3 !
Next year, Domingues will be racing for Renault, and whit a way better car, who knows what it can do!

Chang signs with Mclaren for another season.

Official story from Mclaren:
Chang has potential, judging from his rookie season, he has the package to win. Although this season isn't going well for him, we would like to retain him for another season.

F1AP - Response from Chang:
"I was relieved when I heard that. I certainly thought they are going to release me because of my poor performance in this season. Nevertheless, I can't blame anyone for my performance, I guess luck played a part in this. I DO have 6 retirements. Glad to hear that Lee will be my teammate again, he is a great driver. Hope we can excel next season."

Ashley.
Stop teasing me....you know i like red bull...oh duncan you kinky guy..

Heck if you werent joking il swap no probs..

I'm not Joking. I'd prefer Ferrari to Red Bull. We can initiate our own transfers i'm sure. We don't only have to use the lottery.

New drivers for Super-Aguri:

Two new drivers are confirmed over at Super-Aguri. For unknwon reason, the two drivers which got Super Aguri on a currently 6th place in the manufacturers championship, are not returning for the next season. The two drivers are Bram Machiels and George Morley. Bram Machiels was racing for the Panasonic Toyota Racing team but didn't brought up the expected resukts which resulted in a not renewed seat for him. But he's picking up the pace slowly, he's currently testing a Red Bull. He knows Super Aguri is the perfect team to come back in the F1 circuit.

The other new driver, George Morley, is a new driver, he isn't quite used to the F1 world but he's got a teammate who'll help him alot. Super-Aguri is determined to battle with Midland and Toro Rosso and maybe even Red Bull. "Well, we did great last season but you never know how your new drivers will do it. Both of the new drivers know eatchother very well, they speak alot with eatchother and they like to share their set ups alot."

Could Super-Aguri be the surprise of season 5?

Errr, a story

I though the 6th between brackets in Bee's list is the current standing, but correct me if I'm wrong.

Davidson To Quit McLaren At End Of Season

Lee Davidson has put a spanner in the works of McLaren today after he confirmed that the contract that sees him to Season 6 has been cut and he will officially leave the team at the end of Season 4.

Although Davidson would make no further comment, it's rumoured a disagreement behind the scenes with Martin Whitmarsh has led to a sour relationship between the driver and the seniors of the team.

McLaren have made no comment but now appear to be looking for a quick replacement for next season. Duncan Hutchison who appears to be Red Bull bound could top their list.

Hutchison in Demand

Renault Racing driver Duncan Hutchison has already expressed his desire to find new challenges after four successful years with the Team. Mid season however, it seemed that the only race seat that might be open to him would be at Red Bull. It now seems that both McLaren and Ferrari are eager to snap up his services.

"I have been in contact with both teams and I am really chuffed" Hutchison said earlier today. "It's a great boost for my confidence that these two great teams want me, and I am happy that I should get a very competitive seat for next season.

"No disrespect to Red Bull, they are a team going places and I thank them for showing an interest in me. But I have been near the top for a while now, and I see it as a step back."

When told that there was still a seat at Super Aguri, Hutchison had this comment to make...

"pfft".
