Butler goes to Red Bull for 2010 season.

In a shock triple transfer today Butler has moved from Ferrari to Red Bull Racing, a report today announced the Duncan Hutchison is going to Mclaren, Davidson to Ferrari (see above) and Butler to Red Bull. More news will come in as we find out more about the reasons behind the moves.

I Want Ferrari!

If Lee is my teammate, I'll take Ferrari for next season . Story to come soon.

F1: Allman to Ferrari

AP - Jarrett Allman, driver of the Formula One BMW Sauber car, also the driver who confirmed his stay at BMW, has had his contract cut. Allman wasn't available for comment, but his agent commented:

"This is a great opportunity for Jarrett. He will be ensured a great teammate next season, and that is his main focus. He doesn't want another re-doing of the Season 3 mishap where Abdeslam Charkaoui abandoned him and left him to fend for himself."

This is quite a shock to everyone. This could be disastrous for BMW.

I'll take BMW lol Maybe soebody can make a lil story for me lol , I hate midland :D

Good choice. 👍

AlMomen Signs For BMW

Midland second driver Mohammed AlMomen has signed for BMW Sauber next season we can exclusively reveal. AlMomen was only on a 1 year contract with the Silverstone outfit but performances this year including a pair of second place finishes has been enough to be rewarded with a contract at BMW Sauber.

He joins Will Whitcomb who currently drives for Red Bull, AlMomen is believed to have been offered a extension with Midland but the deal went sour before BMW snapped him up.

Hutchison-McLaren For Season 5

Duncan Hutchison has been confirmed as Lee Davidson's replacement at McLaren for next season. The Renault driver was left without a extension after 4 tough seasons with the french team and his relationship with Manager Flavio Briatore has gone downhill after an arguement involving team mate Jef Beyens.

"It's relieving to still be with a front running outfit such as McLaren" Said Hutchison whilst in Hungary for tomorrow's Grand Prix.

Driver-Go-Round?!

At early morning in Hungaroring, press interviewers caught up with second-year sucker Yuuji Kawasie and questioned him about the recent driver changes. This is what he had to say.

"Good lord man, come on, what's with Ferrari? I think they've tried to sign like 4 drivers in the past day!? It seems they're a little desparate for talent for season 5, but at this rate it might be easier for them to buy out all the other teams instead. Then they'll have all the bloody drivers! But then again everyone's jumping at everybody else trying to sign somebody. I bet if I created my own F1 team right now using my dad's Civic I could get 3 drivers."

"But what I'm really surprised is that there hasn't been more notice for anybody. I'm sure they would rather take their time and make sure they have a successful driver rather than finding the first guy off the street. All I can say is that these driver negotiation things are just crazy. I know I'd rather be driving a Ferrari than a Midland."

Not pissed, just making good news :)

Hutchison Interested in Honda

Newly signed McLaren driver Duncan Hutchison is again looking at other options. This time looking at Honda..... Civic that is! Hutchison claimed earlier that Kawasie's idea to put a Civic on the grid wasn't a bad one as he thinks he could still win.

Cheeky Bugger!

So much news, I'll join in :).

Super Aguri

The second Super Aguri driver is feeling ill after drinking 4 litres of supermarket branded Dr.Pepper, for legal reasons, the supermarket shall not be named, but George says he should be ok for the start of the season.

All drivers going insane

For no reason, some drivers are going insane, some will enter F1 with a Civic, others are drinking litres of beer just before the start of the new season.

No succes can be garandeed for these drivers...

C'mon, you're all underestimating the Civic. It has VTEC and'll pwn you all :dopey:

...alright, maybe I'll upgrade to a Prelude...always liked that car in GT2.

(100th post ^^ party hat! :dunce: )

Oh, and just in F1 2002 Blake's-gone-so-now-I'm-by-myself-news:

There is a collision as Kawasie attempts to pass Haswell for P19! Kawasie has a wry smile. Haswell seems fine on the circuit.

Irony is awesome.

Well guys, it's been fun, but I'm calling it a day when the A1 wreckfest (and F1 season 4) concludes.

I might return for a one-off series, I dunno.

Honda resigns Brad Horton

Honda annouced today that it has extended Brad Horton's contract for one more year

"He's the greatest driver that ever lived, even though he asked for a 12 digit salery, we couldn't say no.

Brad Horton was unable for interview as he was in a strip club.

News Just In

The Super Agura Team cars have been writen off after they were pelted with eggs while being driven on the back of a truck through a council estate.

Davidson is buggering off to have a fun holiday in great yarmouth today for a week! Chance to own mclaren now everyone?

Any spots open for this season? (Upcoming/just starting?)

Toshiro Yamashi ta. (Stupid wordfilter, ruining a perfectly normal Japanese family name...)

We've also got a noob/beginner private game going on, if any beginners are watching this thread. 5967, p/w 123.
