2 stop definitly I say!

If you guys see a guy named Johnny Storm spreading crap talk about me, ignore him. What the hell is wrong with this kid? All of my other accounts are deleted for a long time yet he claims they aren't, he's just too lazy to even look it up 👎

I like Johnny Storm, we had a good run together in my first (WR-opt out) Championship win.

Well, in my BATSeven race, I went from 19th to 11th.

I open my account for the season with 2 points. Both teammates failed to score.

In my BAT7's game, my girlfriend owned the field. Danny won the first and last race... that's about all I can remember... oh, and did I forget to mention that we won the teams race by 200 odd points?

My DAX Quadra has a potato on it. Really.

Flying Spudz is my race team - I first ran the name in my CC ROC a while back.

Damn. I'll say it again - Damn. BATSevens are terribly, insanely bad for your nerves. 1 race to go, I'm leading the championship by a fragile 12 points, the one behind me starts the last race of the season in 1st while I start it in 11th. Damn, that's a tight finish.

Lol, BAT7's are easy. They're by far the most basic set to work out because you can push so hard without many mistakes. Which makes them extremely predictable.

Except if it's your 3rd race in a row with a bad start (despite having the start-riskyness slider on 60), which costed me a 4th-place start. If I had started decently, I'd've finished a podium, and had the championship in my pocket. Now, I have to fight to reach 5th place. If I get less than 10 points next race, I'll loose the championship on the last race :banghead:

Plus, predictable or not, I have to say leading the championship with 3 different AWOL'ing teammies plus tonnes of bad luck isn't pretty easy...

Someone who can give me some advice for the LMES Aston Martin DBR9?

We're currently in the third race, I'm on pole. Problem is, we've been going fast in all quali's but the races always turned out disastrous. I mean, I've got my race pace sliders at 75 and yet, I finished laps behind my class while I only was 0.053 seconds off pole...In the previous race, we both DNF'ed. Now I'm on pole, I'd like to win this race to get back on track, any suggestions on sliders and strategy?

75 is pretty high, you know...

I'm running mine around 65-70, Soft-Hard-Hard, with the repair-slider at 25. Works like a charm.

Just looked over my DBR9 LMES game and at Lime Rock everyone had at least 1 tyre failure.

So my advice would be bump tyre wear meter right down and hards as much as you can.

Lime Rock, eh? Soft-Hard-Hard-Hard (3 stopper) earned me a win there. Won by a whole lap...

Damn, S12 had a tough opening race. Crash on 1st lap, Bad start for teammie, then pace-car parade which stopped the minute my teammie's car overheated :p

Y'know, Appie, you kept that 9th while taking me out as I tried to pass you ;)

A little higher in the Tyre-use sliders, since I just had a race where I had to stretch things a little, but I left it like that ever since the 2nd race. 3 wins in a row, and 3 podiums afterwards 👍

Thanks Danny and Metar

Norwegian flag colours FTW! Since I changed my helmet, I decided to give my Aston some Norwegian flavour as well :D

Looks sweet IMO 👍

Damn, folks, I just realized how fun the race is with a bunch of 21 chatty racers instead of 21 silent ghosts. Finally discussions, comments, poking... Kickass.

And Bram, that turned out nice - but why not have the flag a little lower and more visible?

Kickass indeed Metar :p

Toyota power :D

I'm telling you, my first F1 BATrace for six weeks, and I win it. Nice.

How about us teaming at Toyota for S13?

Metar: Because the spot where the blue is, is situated on the left side of the flag so I tried not to get it centered too much and to still keep it visible. Another reason would be that the angle of the flag on my helmet is nearly the same :D

If all the S13 races are wet, sure!

No, seriously, I want to see how it runs in a dry race. I have a funny feeling I won't be so flash then. :|

edit: I won again! 02 BAR, Melbourne. Starts bone dry, finishes storm. Hmm. Pretty much a reversal of the S12 weather. And so I win. :D

Joined current public LMES game. Using XGT's C65 livery from the comp at the moment, until I come up with a good one.

Here ya go Jamez:

The livery I just made (personally, I love it, even if the text is a bit small [I'll probably change the text anyways]):

Guillaume: Now hit 100 fast laps and 5000 points.

Hey Sharky, congrats!

You're teamed with my little friend Nathan in the Backmarker Challenge.
