I won Le Mans in GTS class by over two minutes. Led 318 of the 379 laps, and was a nice end to an awful season in the TVR - was running ninth/tenth virtually all season after a DNF at Sebring :|

Ended up finishing fifth as a result of winning Le Mans... which was surprising.

No-one is going to object if I take the Jordan?

I do confess, though ... I'm in two minds about joining. Yuji disappeared on me in the current '08 game, so I've pretty much abandoned it myself. I mean, I'm certainly joining and I want the Jordan, but I at least want some assurance that my team-mate - whoever he or she may be - is going to be taking this seriously.

I forgot about engineer's advice and have a terrible practice time

Nope, all seats are open to all GTP members. :)

The best way would be to seek out a partner rather than waiting for one. :)

Never done a F1 1999 event before, but I guess it'd be fun to start out with GTP. I'll give it a go with Jordan if that's ok.

Hey Sage :D
Can't wait to pwn yo ass :)

it's only my second event so expect a weak 2nd driver at mclaren.

GTPF1 XXI is headed towards a thrilling conclusion!

I lead Smithy by 99 to 90 with only Shanghai and Interlagos remaining; two points more than David in these two races will seal the title for me.

Who are you guys backing? ;)

Andrea Lola 3: THERE MIGHT BE BLOOD

The Andrea Lola 107% Memorial Trophy is back with series three, THERE MIGHT BE BLOOD.

Named for two of the worst teams ever to line up on the Formula One grid - Andrea Moda and Lola MasterCard - this is a LOSE-TO-WIN series, this time set in the old ChampCars carset.

But this time around, there's an added twist: where in previous races, retirements have been disabled, it's now possible to crash out! You will get points for retiring, but you'll get more if you're still running at the end of the race, but manage to stay off the podium.

Please note, however, that we take doing badly very seriously ... glory-seekers - people who join the game to win all of the races and get a P1 in their profile - will NOT be tolerated, so consider yourselves warned!

Can series two champion Scott NoSpeed make it back-to-back wins? Will our original winner, Randall Ruggles, get his revenge? Or will someone new emerge to be crowned the 107% champion?

I can't sign up for the 97 season until the current 08' ends. Guess it'll be a few days before I sign up :/

Plus I'll be away this weekend on a business trip. Hope the wait doesn't bother anyone :)

Qualified 2nd in the latest race, then got an oil problem on lap 1

Metar - 103 point tie with myself and Smith for GTP F1 honours. David won courtesy of winning at Brazil for a 6-5 tiebreaker on number of wins.

I finished 10th at Brazil, so I lost. :|

Good job David, you deserved it.
