Battlefield 2 MC the 360 version

Did you ever play Battlefield 2 for the xbox or the PC? Battlefield 2 in my opinion is one of the best combat war games ever made. My GF and I absolutely love it for the xbox so I can only imagine how good it will be for the 360. Nothing compares to the Battlefield games. You can fly helicopters, drive tanks and tons of other vehicles anywhere off and online. There really is no comparison. 👍
This game will completely blow COD2 away on the 360. Not even debatable.

Nope, never got to play any of the versions. I've never been bothered getting the console version, and I just haven't got a good enough PC to play the PC version.

After looking at them latest videos, I can see why everyone keeps raving on about Battlefield series.

You are not going to believe the gaming experience that BF2 offers. Nothing like any other shooter I have seen ever in my life. That video was just single player. Wait until you actually play online! :dopey: :dopey: I cant wait to see your response to this game after you play for the first time. :) The more you learn about it the better it becomes too.
Each soldier has their own special weapons and each can do something different. Online there are artillery strikes available.
1.Assult soldier-assult rifle, grenade launcher, smoke grenade, frag grenade, pistol.
2.Engineers- can set land mines for tanks, they have rockets, shotgun, engineer also heals damaged vehicles, pistol
3.snipers- sniper gun, send laser attack on helicopters or any moving vehicle, GPS to show where enemies are at
4.spec ops- C4, grenade launcher, some kind of machine gun
5.Support- Heals wounded soldiers, call mortar attacks, HEALS HIMSELF!!, 100 round gun thats brutal
There is your basic breakdown of what each soldier does. WHen you die you get to choose from any of the 5 which is awesome for online when you need a different soldier. This is not even including driving tanks, buggies, hummers, fying helicopters. Sooo much to this game! 👍
The best mode to play is "Conquest" online.

Sounds very good!

I'm seriously glad I have the money saved up to purchase this. This will be at the top of my list, as there are too many good X360 games coming out this month. :indiff:

Put this at the top of your list. I am 100% positive you will love it. If not I will buy it from you and all the members here are your witness to me saying that.
When I eventually get a 360 I will add you for sure and we can play some rounds together. I know Driftgod will have this game too and possibly 194Gvan. 👍

I really don't get any lag when playing with 30+ players like I expected... never did with BF42, either.

But you got to remember that is on the PC, remember if you have a server setup on a big server. Then your get better results, other then live.
 
Yeah well what I'm asking myself is... will EA provide the severs or what ? I mean I could never be the host for 30 players for example...
 
They would never host servers on console, its just like other companies. It can be done. But most server companies only see the money coming mainly from the computer side of the market.

Glad they brought the demo out at long last, I try to get some screen shots from my HDTV.
 
The demo is great!

I wouldn't say the graphics are the best on the 360, probably around COD2 good, but that's fine because so much is going on! Being able to drive in tanks, helicopters and taking a ride with people is really cool and fun. :) I'm liking it more and more by the minute. For sure it is better than COD2. 👍

Now I know what it's like to get shot by my teamate if I'm about to use a machine gun or helicopter. Greedy people...

The demo is great!

Oh yeah this game and COD2 are no where near each other when it comes to game play. BF2 blows COD2 away. Just wait until the first time you play BF2 online. :sly: Tanks driving everywhere, helicopters rocketing you. Its insane online. :dopey:
Conquest is the best mode online.

It is a capture the flag level, with broken bridges and a main bridge in the middle with a flag on it. I can't remember the name of the map.

It's pretty fun staying next to the flag in a tank and picking off the enemy from a distance.
 
Get a headset if you get the full version, James.

Conquest is sooo much better IMO. There are generally 6-8 different and whatever team takes over and holds the most flags will win. Very challenging and loads of fun. My gf and I always play conquest mode.
 
It is conquest mode and it's A Bridge to Far which is the map. Damn snipers paradise, I hate that map, Deadly Pass would've been much better.

Oh yeah they always camp on top of the building that everyone calls the Chinese building. That map is fun until the snipers take it over. I like trying to keep flag 2 and 4 on that map when I play conquest mode. If you have 2 and 4 you will win.

The video works perfect for me. You have to wait until the advertisement passes then wait for the video to buffer. After that......enjoy. :)
 
I have a question.

Is there any way, online, to increase the amount of damage you inflict from your weapons? Just now, I was playing this guy who killed me with much less bullets from an Assult rifle than usual. It was ticking me off after a while. I admit, he was pretty good so that makes me think he was of a high rank, getting better damage because of it. Is this true? Or is there another explanation?
 
Mabey he was shooting you in the head while you were shooting his body. Or someone could have been shooting you at the same time he was. Its just a guess.

Hmmmm, the head thing makes sense, as it was a 1 on 1 game, it was just me and him in the game at the time. The only other guy was just shooting a rocket launcher at the wall constantly, and getting points randomly... Some glitch I suppose.

This is what it would've been I would wager on, your soldier will be wearing body armour so body shots aren't as effective as head shots. Also an explosion has a further range than a bullet so if you shoot at a wall next to an enemy, it will more than likely kill them. Good example is Flag 4 there is a 50cal gun placement up a ramp above the metal containers, murder to hit with a gun but rocket or tank shell the wall behind and they're dead !

I just thought I would share with those of you who like this game on Xbox or 360. :) The actual match took almost 20 mins, but I've just got the final 6mins odd here in the vid.

Oh yeah ....watch for the landmine at flag 6 that we all just leave ...it's a good one.

_aj Thank you soo much for posting that video. I play BF2 for the regular xbox version and love it. The 360 looks soooo much better. Massive difference in graphics and game play.
If the members on this board have never played this game you HAVE to watch his video!! Thank you again for posting it. 👍 👍
