Hahaha oops. I was using it on metro, which is th only map I use a shotgun on, and I was doing very well with it. Personal preference I guess.

I would use a shotgun on metro if it weren't for the 240B, I only use them on maps that are 80% indoors/closequarters

@ mike, the saiga is better than the 1014 but still not a USAS

Oh well. Watch them nerf the USAS when I am 4000 points away from it.

Tonight started off with a 35min Kharg battle which my team won by 30 tickets, and then we beat up some new kids for an hour pushing them to deployment each time.

Got to love their ambition though - running around Seine armed with a sniper rifle.

Sniping at Seine? Funneh.

Had a decent round at Metro last night, went 12-0 as Support, with my M249. We took B (though a few held back for A points) and pushed them back beyond the turnstiles so I set up the bipod and covered and dropped ammo. 6 resupply ribbons and revived a couple of times by VEXD.

@up

Yeah , it does fall down in CQ mode when there is about 20 tickets left for losing side. But watch out because it can kill you while falling.

Yesterday was clear example how bad some people are and how it is hurting the game. Wake Island Rush. While attacking the defenders gave me Tunguska. Not once but twice in same round! It must be some kind of record. We switch sides and what do you know. 1st set of Mcoms. They take out A. Around 40 tickets left and what they do. I hit their Viper with Igla. Pilot bails out (a wing player I may add). Viper lands safely in our spawn with 55% health left. Pilot commits suicide. I gladly accept the gift and continue to finish them off with my gunner. Seriously?

I seriously prefer close games (even if it means my KD will hurt, or even losing and I hate losing :) ) with tough opposition then blazing through rounds in 8 minutes.

Tell you what was odd last night, in the Viper with VEXD (he was flying, obviously) and we got heatseeker'd, what was really odd though, is that it killed me, but not VEXD or take down the chopper?

Yup, it can happen in chopper or jet. It usually does when the missiles direct hit the cabin (unfortunately there is no replay feature to examine it in slo mo ;) ). Had a few kills and deaths that way.

Thought you'd jumped out!

You know, if you learned to fly straight, I could drop you off at the enemy's spawn and you could nick their Viper, and we could dominate the skies, like the other guys I've watched killing me, do.

But your flying sux.
I had the brainwave that seeing as we were getting completely owned everytime we got into the Havoc, that if I went down to the carrier, and at least destroyed the Viper once, it would break the cycle of him killing me, and give us chance to get some people back onto the objectives.
His air superiority was doing my head in.
I wanted to fly down there, destroy viper, then take obj's and have some pointy points for us.
But I wasn't anticipating the jet turning up and flying so close to the deck he could drink the seawater, and subsequently killing us. 👎
Sorry about that chef.
I think either I am really poor at flying, but I am getting better (as Sharqi proved) or the AH1Z Viper is a massively overpowered chopper which automatically gives air superiority to it's pilot.
As Sharqi proved.

Either way, it's fun trying for a bit.
I enjoyed reviving people at Metro too.
Watching the opposition camping and just randomly throwing in RPG's out of pure desperation is always fun, especially when you've been where they are at that moment, before......

:irked:👍

Did the chopper co-op with Crispy last night before joining you, I improved quite a bit. I still struggle when I lose focus on flying to shoot things. Practice is the only way to get better with it 👍

After the co-op guns became unlocked there was never any reason to play it again.

ヤー コーアプはちょっとつまらない。

Yeah, Co-op is incredibly boring.

I'll just buy another game and get all the free ones. Although there are a lot more for MGS I haven't bothered to get yet...

Myth, busted. You can get killed by a MAV when prone

However, recon's who are actually playing for their team and not being jerks are a huge asset at Metro. Spawn beacons everywhere, a T-UGS in choke points. It was like Christmas in January.

What's your psn? I'm in the application so if you have it listed to the left there, I have no clue.

And T-UGS does what exactly?

I know it's a personnel sensor, right?

But having never deployed it, what does it actually do, CBA to go and try to get online for 5 mins to find out, and have to be back at work in a few mins anyway.....

Does it beep when you get someone close to it or something?

:irked:👍

Yeah it does i alerts you too enemy vehicles and infantry 👍:)

Edit: Just looking at my Stats on Battlelog ive got 771 kills with my PDW-R pretty good hey?

Yes, it spots enemies who are near it, works both vertically and horizontally.

On dark maps it's useful, inside Damavand tunnel I quite often get a load with them.

Edit: yet another crash today, 2nd one at Sharqi recently. Annoying, was doing quite well. Improved my headshot earlier too, now up to 220m. PHWOAR!

Marksman headshots only for Recon? Like if you shoot 150 marksman with M249 will it be 150 marksman or just headshot?

It is a really nice weapon. I have only just started using it when I run Support, but it is incredibly stable when being fired.

Basically it will light up enemy within its range on your minimap as red triangles. The owner of the UGS will get the same bonus as with a MAV i.e. motion sensor kill (20pts) and spot bonus (10pts). The only sucky thing is that they make the same sound as a radio beacon, so if you stick it in a quiet area, it's pretty easy to find by the enemy.
