Interesting (shall we say) few rounds there gunny. Got absolutely crushed at Damavand and Tehran, then I found a West US server and had a good round at Bazaar which we won, then the wheels fell off again and we just couldnt live with the other team.

Then at the last round at Damavand, the lag was terrible. We were trying to push enemy back into the tunnel and as if he was transported there by the Starship Enterprise, a guy appears right in front of me and USAS's me. Same thing happened in the tunnel after I revived you (or was it a squaddie).

My own private USAS is just a few hours away...I can almost smell it..

Frag rounds will be opened in no time.... Just 60 kills ;) Play a couple rounds of Metro and youre set ... :lol:

Thing is, from memory (i'd have to check the stats to be sure) we got ace squad ribbon for most of the rounds you mentioned.

To be honest I didn't notice it too much. I spent most of the round being shot at, or dead :lol:.

Must of been our squaddie (newman335) my apprentice from work, I only managed to make it into the tunnel near the end, four guys came at me and I was only good enough to get one of them before I was shot. :guilty:

Just thought I should tell you lot about an amazing win me & my team had today :)

It was CQ on gulf of oman, we had won the first round by miles so I thought the next one would be easy. Then i noticed we were losing 45 - 175. next thing i know the entire team just switch on, we took all the flags & held them until we won. Just goes to show working as a team really does get the job done.

Personally I still use the M39 4x + bipod as my Recon class for closer range maps, try to work the sightlines and post up with the 'pod so you can pretty much fire as fast as you like with no recoil and it's a satisfying weapon to use. I see the logic behind using PDWs on Recon, when levelling the class I used the UMP quite regularly, but I prefer to play with other classes if I really want to get in the other teams' face now I have no want for more unlocks in the class thanks to grabbing the M40.

Had a go with the M39 over a couple of rounds. Yeah, nice. Much more suited to my style of mid-range sniping, I find the longer range stuff fairly ineffective in most team situations, but used it for covering at Seine in quite an effective way earlier. Nothing like the stopping power of the SV98 I was using, but semi-auto means I can down far more people.

I did a few rounds today after quite awhile, and I think I had beginner's luck or something. I joined in late on wake island and went 5 & 1, and then a couple matches later everyone disappeared, and I was stuck with another server that I didn't do to well on but ultimately blew up a few tanks (it's much easier when you teammates set them on fire first! :lol:) and that's it and I'm pretty close to anti air missiles for mobile AA (..... Well I guess I've been so for months).

I saw you were on but I was hopping around Metro servers to level up the USAS. Half way to frag due to joining late in rounds mostly. It's a bit of a joyless gun, but who can argue with its firepower 👍

Had a great run this morning of 10 wins in a row with a solid team of guys. Pity I had to end the session; its not that often you join with randoms who actually know what they are doing.

Blitz187 - tried to PSN friend you, but you are full up ;)

If you can't beat em, join em. Fight fire with fire, etc etc. Personally I don't use them but after getting killed by them as much as Mike has it must be nice to be on the giving end for a change :lol:

And I am no worse than the majority of players who have access to it. It's in the game, I'm going to use it. You don't have to if you don't want to, I don't really care how you chose to play the game.
 
I just quit games that have the USAS + frag being exploited (not saying they shouldn't, just I have no itnerest in playing a match with them in).

Finally got to the service star for tanks last night. CITV station is awesome, at Caspian last night, 2 of us in the tank and we're unde fire from a chopper, I jump out and repair and the other guy lases the chopper, I jump back in, switch to guided and bye-bye chopper!

Got the skid loader trophy last night too.

There is one downside to this, which I discovered recently. If 3 squaddies are in a tank, there is a creaky 4th wheel who is operating solo with nobody to spawn on. A right pain in the arse.

They way me and my buddy have it is that he drives with guided shell, I sit in the CITV, and another buddy of ours has a javelin, and is also the gunner. When we engage tanks at range, one tank shell, and one javelin, and its gone.

So I guess the 4th person could spawn on the guy when he gets out to shoot the tanks, or to repair.
 
What do i open after MAV? What is your favorite class and why?
Mine is Assault. Because of the guns and i can save people.

After the MAV you unlock the SKS then M40A5 then M98B then the Russian and US guns for both teams.

My favourite is recon :) only one I'm good at lol but I'm all about stealth, sniper's :) its what I do :)

Yo have you seen the USA shows called surviving the cut sniper it's awesome really gets me into the mood playing Recon in BF3 hahaaa.
 
L96 is my favorite. I get why people thing the M98 is best, but there is more to a gun than just its stats. And for me the L96 just fills a hole. It's not very different stat-wise anyways.
