Thats the next weapon in line for my 1000kill benchmark. 18 now soon to be 19. So little recoil it feels like im shooting a gun from COD. :sly:

Haha nice, I've racked up a good 500, going for the 1000 haha
It's great with the red dot and foregrip, been using it for a while and apart from the close quarters its such a great weapon, even sniped a few people with the single shot!
Yes, like, a gun from cod.. 0.o

Take the foregrip off and attach heavy barrel, then its not just good its a beast!

Sorry I forgot all about the heavy barrel, I've got that on as well in the secondary spot! So yes it is beast! Haha

Has anyone been able to get the Aftermath theme for the Premo Bonus Content Drop? I can't seem to find it in the in-game store or the PSN Store

Yes, I found it yesterday. Just search for bf3. And it will be there. On the UK store atleast.

I just got banned from a server for getting too many landmine kills

Hahahaha don't feel bad you know if that person wasn't a admin he would have just rage quit and sent you hate mail. He was mad bro

That scavenger mode looks fun, because it would force me to use more weapons than the 2 or 3 I use regularly. By the looks of it wouldn't make sense if there were classes in that mode, because support wouldn't be able to use ammo pack because that would ruin the low ammo idea and no one would have their gadgets anyway.

It's for cosmetic changes only (i.e. the Engineer can't repair stuff, Assault can't heal and you can't spawn on a Recon's Beacon).

4 500 ticket ass kickings in a row. Even handing out base rapings gets old quickly (your SPM drops like a rock). Ended up just switching over to the losing team and quickly became MVP.

Mine and Caz's platoon is looking for assault and recon players if anybody's interested. Unless you have a 1000+ SPM, it would be a good idea to have a mic too.

Daniel, any word on those scenario ideas?

Guys, I've not used any LMGs for ages now, normally when I use support I pick a PDW or shotgun, but I'd like to get back to using them... Which ones are supposed to be good now? I don't often sit still when I play so the heavy recoil LMGs like the PKP are poorly suited, but I'm wondering if that means I have to stick to the magazine-fed ones or if there's a belt fed one that is kind of good when on the move?

Well, I've been playing Black Ops II another game as of lately. But it's school holidays here so it can be whenever. I'm not very good at organising, am I? :indiff:

If you want to stick to running around, I'd suggest using the mag-fed ones. I use the belt-fed LMGs for 'podding up and defending an MCOM, high-traffic area or a flag. For running and gunning I really like the L86 with the Holo sight 👍

I would recommend the L86A2, Very little recoil and incredibly accurate. Also a favourite of a few in this thread the QBB-95. RPK is very reliable also. Those are my picks for aggressive, run and gun support play. I often play with the M240 and PKP in a aggressive role also, Although your leaving yourself exposed as they seemingly have worse spread and accuracy than the magazine fed lmgs. Seeing as your a PC player though, that might make it less of a problem.

M27 IAR, extended mags+kobra+no grip. Just use it and youll know the reason.

I prefer the RPK over the IAR for aggressive support. On paper the IAR is the better weapon, but I just don't like the look of it nor the sound of it. If I recall correctly, its hipfire accuracy is inferior to the RPK too.

For running around: MG36 with Holo sight, Ext. Mags, and Foregrip. Basically like the IAR, but with a larger mag and slightly worse in middle range. Kicks major donkey in close quarters, though. The L86 is also very reliable. For belt-fed MG's, you could try the LSAT, but be warned, it sucks at...everything.

Thanks guys, seems like they haven't changed as much as I had assumed they had! The M27, MG36 and L86 sound like what I'm after, I think I'll try the L86 first, mainly because I'm seriously loving the L85 at the moment.

I tried using the M60 today on the move it was just awful, i was running straight up to people and blasting them in the face yet not getting any kills, i used to be so good with it as well but it seems to be really bad after the last update, i only really like it because of the sound and kick:crazy:

I'm loving my new-found hobby, that is, doing stunts with the Venom. Although it's HUGE, you can pull off some really good stunts. I just love watching my crew (usually random players) bail before I "crash" under some oil pipes or between buildings. If I'm not doing stunts I'm transporting players to objectives behind enemy lines.

Now, back onto the current topic. Which LMGs are great all-round? I've tried the M60 (horrible without a bipod) but I can't get it to work for my style. I tried the M249 Saw and I loved it, but, I need something with a bigger punch. Any suggestions?
