Who know's why HazardCinema hasn't updated their top 10 plays in 2 months, but check out #1 on this one o_o.

It looks staged - it's the same person each time in the plane and he does the exact same thing over and over again (i.e. shoot and then turn to the side).

The guy who did the video.... Battlefield 3 epic jet kill?

If so i think it took him about 30 times to get it. I saw the video of how many times it took

Probably, but still you gotta hit the target, even if its staged :p

I may end up getting quite a bit of cash for Christmas but I'm not sure what I want to do with it. Definitely want to get premium, but how are the Aftermath and Armoured Kill maps? I would like some kind of review from you guys on them, seeing as you are normal players and I want to know what you think of them before I decide to buy. I'd rather not read reviews online, I prefer to hear it from average people.

Would like to pick up TDU2 and GTA: SA on PSN but premium will be a must buy depending on how good they are and if it's worth it. I do really want more maps.

I think the Aftermath maps are very cool and really fun to play on.

The Armoured Kill maps are just to darn big, in my opinion.
And even on 64 slot servers, it's just not any fun compared to the normal maps and the Aftermath.

That's what I've been hearing. But I really like how awesome looking Alborz Mountain is =P

Aftermath you will enjoy alot. Armored kill is good but kind of too big. With how i play AK. I basically have two maps per map. Say on alborez mtn i will concentrate on A&E as they are far from bcd but relatively close together, or bc/cd as they are easy transitions across whilst c is the gunship flag and always a point of action.

Thanks for the input.

Can anyone tell me why my friends unlocks are coming up on my feed?

Played some HC Rush on Métro. I started off defending but the teams got auto-balanced just before the second set of MCOMs went. We went down to 8 tickets left for the third set and managed to clear off the B MCOM.

We get down to the final set, and I'm using the SVD with iron sights. I see that we have 3 tickets left so I run for the final MCOM near the bus. I arm it and unfortunately get team killed by a grenade.

We won with 0 tickets left, and I was the one to arm it :D

Oh, and bolt-action sniping with iron sights is really fun :D

Look at videos on YouTube asking other people's opinions is great And all but you'll find opinions will differ, So if you see them on action your self you wont be dissapointed. 👍 :) My opinion Aftermath - Best Maps in BF3 along with karkand and a few of the vanilla maps.

Armoured kill - They feel like they're built for PC but even so PC players say they are to big and such.

Also have you get any DLC so far?
If not I think its great value. If you already got a few packs Not So much.

After the hardcore debate in the thread a few days back, I will give hardcore something. Sniping - way better than core.

Ahh fudge double post. :(

I find the Armored Kill maps big for the sake of being big. I often find myself looking for a vehicle to get to objectives faster, but no vehicle being readily available. Now had more ATVs or Jeeps been included at each objective, then the maps would be better. My thoughts on Armored Kill are based on me primarily being an infantry player. I am not a huge vehicle user and when I do use vehicles, it tends to be a main battle tank. The tank destroyers that were included in Armored Kill are quite nice also. Thus, really big maps and being an infantry player without quick transportation, it makes for an experience of lots of running around between largely spread out objectives.

I have enjoyed the Aftermath maps so far. The maps have a similar feel to the Back to Karkand maps and that is a very good thing.

This isn't so much of an issue by itself, however this combined with the C-130 is a huge issue.

Run-run-run-run-run-run-run-flag is just 50 m away-run-run-run-death from the sky.

I had a great game of Metro rush last night as well. Mostly made up of cq spraying of a M249. I set the last charge on the M-COM and killed about 5 guys trying to disarm it purely with run and spray tactics.
Reloading that thing is a pain though.

Best thing though is if I need to do some long range shooting I just get the bipod out.

You do know that the SVD is not a bolt-action sniper rifle.

Yes, I have B2K and Close Quarters =P

Tough call. With 2 dlcs out and one coming in march you wont save any money by going premium. Tho its only a 5$ difference and you get all the 2xp and "bonus" content.
Without being able to play the AK expansion you never know if you will like it. That pack shines if you are playing with people you play with alot. Leaving squads in certain areas, but playing with randoms can be quite the nightmare.
Also to note, if you skip AK its not like you are missing out on any new weapons to carry into the rest of the game.

M40's got a better cycle rate (you can shoot faster). SV98 has less drop IIRC. And I don't really like the JNG due to it's slow cycle rate.

For short-mid range sniping, or defending a base like in Damavand or Métro, use the M40. For longer engagements, use the SV98.
