:D

I've had like a lots of 6-7-8 kills with 1 nade stuff, but the one time I killed 11 people with 1 RPG shot... That was just hilarious! :sly:

I had a time where I dropped 1 pack of C4 in a heavily populated area on Metro a while back. I snuck up behind the team and took out a good 9-10 of them haha.

Had some great games last night. It was spoiled a bit by butt hurt server admins. We were on a server owned by a clan called GUSS and me and 3 other [SaS] members were owning them. We followed the rules but my mate got kicked 3 times for being too good in the little bird then all 3 of us got a mass ban lol. Here is a battle report from before the kick with [SaS] on the Russian army.

Played quite a bit of this over the holiday vacation. I purchased the Aftermath maps and they are decent. I like the scavenger game mode. The armored kill maps are still my favorite.

Just had a quick game on the PC, Operation metro conquest. We were doing pretty well and holding 2 out of three flags, and then all of a sudden the admin started killing members on our team. For using M320, M16A4, RPG, Rules clearly stated all weapons allowed. We ended up losing the game too, as we got pegged back to Alpha and could not push through.

I think i need one more Multi-kill on the PC, not played much PS3 lately so am falling a behind.

That's pathetic; so sad admin can ruin an entirely perfect game.

I only play on a handful of servers which are very... professionally? ran. A good server and mature management makes for a much better experience.

This would be epic! :sly:

and since getting BF3 on the PC the lack of VOIP really does suck. Only a few players in the games i've played recently put the text chat to good use.

Do any of you guys use Skype or similar to chat whilst playing on the PC? If so can i add some of you, would be better off playing with mic like i do on the ps3

Just picked up Premium! =P

Gave me a bit of trouble with errors for downloading the new maps at first but it;s downloading now. YAY

If anyone is interested, I have written my own code for a BF3 random class generator. I feel like it gives me a restored sense to the game because if I force myself to use whatever comes up, it eliminates personal feelings and adds a lot more variety to my load outs.

I wrote it in a little program called Python. It's completely free, just Google Python 3.3. It's like a lighter version of Java or C++ or any other script languages like that. It works on any computer OS, Mac or PC.

Now, it's not perfect: I wrote it for simplicity. So instead of naming every component of the kit, it will tell you how many times to change something (i.e., change your primary weapon "9" times). I did this because it was far easier to do/less likely for me to make an error.

Gives it a whole new meaning to "switchin it up". Would love that but I use a PS3.. :(

I'm 30000 points away from being promoted to LvL 100 colonel. :)

Gotta go out for a bit but when I get back, I'll get my gold eagle. :)

My clan uses Teamspeak 3, it's more common than Skype. There's also Ventrilo (often just called Vent) and Mumble, but I rarely see server messages inviting you to either of those. I think Skype uses more bandwidth than any of the dedicated gaming services but that could be a big old lie.

Me and my friends use Voxer app on our phones. It truly blows Skype out of the water. Just push to talk (like a walkie talkie). You can have all your friends in it with no lag. I no longer have Skype hahaha

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try them out, is it ok if i send you two invites on Origin?

I am thinking of going in the other direction. I tend to switch between primary weapons within each class much too often. I just managed to get six weapons to 500 kills: AEK-971, AK-74M, M16A3, M4A1, M249, and SKS. Prior to those six, the only weapon I had at 500 kills was the M416 and I had done that quite a while back.

Since I used each of the above six for an extended period of time, an extended amount of time for me at least, I have played better more consistently or I should say it has seemed that way. If you notice on the list of weapons, most are considered the tryhard guns. So it is probably not a coincidence that I have played consistently better.

I sent you a friend request. However, with me being in the States, not sure there will be much time overlap for games together.

Hah, 15 minutes of Metro. :sly:

Nah got it on Noshahr, Can't remember the last time I played metro. :)

I gained 150000 points on a single kharg island round a few days ago. Went 110 - 18 Definitely sped it up a bit. :)

thanks 👍 accepted. I've just recently started with PC gaming, so still getting to grips with the keybindings and mouse.

Randoms are REALLY starting to irritate me. With the recent influx of Chirstmas noobs, it's become even worse. I recently played a 100% TDM on Tehran Highway and my ENTIRE TEAM (apart from me and another colonel guy) were camping recons up on the hill. Not a single one got more than 5 kills, and we still lost by 50 kills despite me and the other colonel getting 20 kills each.

I think you will find that you end up liking keyboard and mouse better than a controller. I made the switch to PC with Battlefield 3. It was rough at first. Aiming with the mouse was not too bad, other than everyone else being able to do so. Growing accustomed to moving with a keyboard was difficult. Now, however much later, it is not bad at all. I still goof up a key or two every now and then, but it has become much easier.

Do not play TDM on Markaz Monolith then. Every Tom, Dick, and Harry seems to be on top of one of the buildings or the opposite side of the map with scope glint.

I've noticed this on Op Firestorm too. The other day I randomly took off in a Kasatka and casually road-killed several guys up on the mountain by the American base (some more than once). They'll learn soon enough, and hopefully I helped :sly:

It is known as noob mountain for a reason. ;)
Nice work on road-killing them though.

Cheers Shaun.

Private Noob reporting for duty, sirs! Lol
I recently bought the premium edition of BF3 (PS3), and am awestruck with this game, after playing BFBC2 for a year I am shocked at how freakin HUGE these maps are! It's also pretty trippy seeing my soldiers body, I've only had it 3 days and I feel like a total noob. I have to admit, this is the most epic feeling game I've ever played, the jets making low passes really makes it come together for me.
Hope to see y'all out there, hopefully not on noob hill though!

So am I. If I wasn't clear, it's a program I wrote on my computer. I just look at my laptop screen and adjust the game accordingly.

I attached a picture (the .pdf) to show you what it looks like when you run it. On the left is the results it spits out, on the right is the coding.

I find that I get MVP ribbons regardless of what gun I'm holding. ;) For me it's about trigger control and mental toughness. If I play smart, and lay off the trigger, I can make anything work. Plus it's kinda fun thrashing people with what they consider a "bad" gun setup.

Do you guys know of any platoons that are fair and will accept someone without a mic? Because I have seriously HAD IT with random teammates. After my last post, I quit playing BF3 because I was too frustrated to continue. Just now, I fired up BF3 and joined a CQ match on Seine Crossing to find my team of non-colonels doing NOTHING. Not a single one of my teammates was above level 35. Now, I usually don't have a problem with noobs as they usually play the objective,(unless they're the camping recon type like I described in my previous post) but my team was something else.

For example, I wanted to obtain a tank, as you can dominate with a canister shell due to how close together everybody is. I spot a T-90 and head over, but before I can reach it, a teammate jumps in. I hop in as well to hitch a ride, but the driver doesn't even move. He just fires the tank at stuff to watch it collapse. I understand that you're new to the game and all, but is it really that hard to drive a tank to the objective? Meanwhile, the rest of the team is going from objective to objective in a huge group, which isn't a bad thing, but whenever they captured a flag, enemies would swoop in and take it back while the group was moving to the next objective.
