Now worries, we won the two rounds after that though :sly:... I went rambo and ended up 27-10 or something playing with Sureboss in the match after you left... :lol: Still need 3 wins to complete that assignment! If I'm on tonight we'll play again on hardcore. 👍

That was an epic finish, I spawned on you getting killed, switched to my 93R (better at close quarters than the M249) killed the guy that got you, span 180 degrees to kill the guy that was killing me.

My 93R stats are 3 kpm, which is double that of my other pistols and only my knife (rather obviously) tops that. Epic gun at close quarters.

The first SQDM was horrible, Tehran, wasn't it? I don't like having one IFV to fight over, doesn't work imo. However, the other 3 games were good fun. I'm happy to try hardcore, not that I've played it in BF3 yet.

Hollidog - I have had crashing issues, I find Sharqi to be a royal PITA to play, I've had all my crashes there.

Yup that was an epic finish! Very close! :D I was cheering when it said we won, the last few seconds of the match I was on a good streak. I was like, "Its now or never man!! You better kill everything you see..." :p I don't think I've even unlocked the 93R yet... Coop gun right?

The first match we had on Tehran was really bad. The IFVs are annoying and I got killed twice going after it while I was like 10 feet away, but I did manage to blow it up a few times with C4 when there was a couple noobs in it... :) If I see you and Dzidza on tonight I will send an invites... See how hardcore SQDM is... 👍

Mike, pity we only got one game together, my game has been freezing heaps lately (about 6 times in the last day) so I deleted the game data and Im waiting for all the patches etc to dl again, then on for the reinstall. Hopefully this will be the end of my freezing. 👎

Yea, I was pleased to see you pop up in that game. When I joined, we were 150 tickets behind, but with an extra few bodies and a few decisive pushes, we snuck that one 👍

After a rather average session of bouncing around random mediocre teams, I had the round of my life at Metro just now. I joined in in the US camp, having just lost B to RU. We stormed the stairs to the left and I decided to focus on being a medic first and assault second, so was dishing out revives thick and fast. Died in the line of duty a few times, but it was vital to keep the pressure up.

We finally pushed them back out to the turnstiles and got a foothold in that side corridor and got B, then it was a mad battle to hold the passage, with them lobbing M320's from all angles. I have never died so much from those stupid grenades.

We pushed them out the corridor, only for them to push us back in. At one point I died and respawned on a squaddie not knowing where precisely I was (some locker room in the corridor it turned out) and had no idea which way to expect visitors. Someone tossed in a smoke grenade and then all hell cut loose - it was like a knife fight in a phonebooth. I was fighting alongside enemies at one point then clicked that was not the plan, so drilled them, and then someone with a USAS arrived so I went to the big farm in the sky.

They got B back, and started disarming C. I spawned to deploy, found the two spies and erased them, meanwhile the team had retaken A and was semi-disarming B. Stormed back up to B, but by that time we had been pushed back down the stairs and escalators. More mad reviving and fighting. Got B back, but lost C, so we charged to A and took that, whilst B was being disarmed. I hung back at A to sort out the cleaner uppers and got two more, then went back to B to revive like a robot.

In the end, we won by 6 tickets I think, I ended up 20-18 (not bad considering how much I was dying reviving people) and got 8500points odd before awards.

Made the session worth it. If they nerf the FAMAS, I'll be very sad.

PS: For this amazing round, I get -21 skill points :lol:

Nearly all I play now is Wake Island, and I play in the jet quite often. So how is it possible to get destroyed in one shot by an Igla/Javelin, without receiving a lock-on?

Does it have something to do with SOFLAM? When I get locked on by SOFLAM, and then when I go out of it's range, the lock-on noise doesn't slowly wear off like a lock-on from an Igla, it just cuts out. I have a feeling that even if I flare after this locking on noise, even if it actually isn't making that noise at that moment because I'm out of the SOFLAM's range, I can get one hit by a Javelin (which I guess is in range of me).

That just doesn't sound right. :sick:

Yup, it's the third co-op gun I think. It's a semi-auto pistol, obviously quite a bit of recoil, but that isn't too hard to control.

I manage to find entire teams with that gun in their hand on Metro, and I then find it impossible to go anywhere, do anything, try to get to anywhere or kill anyone.

All this talk of teaming up and owning reminds me of an idea I had once.....

I would love to see that Squad Specialisation actually brought into effective use.
You know, where one has SQD SPRNT, one has SQD FLAK, one has SQD AMMO and one has SQD SPPR......

^ Don't worry, when you reach level 43 you will be able to feel its awesomeness before it gets the royal NERF so you can give them all a taste of their own medicine... :) Its an addictive gun... :p

You mean you don't find it effective when everybody brings Squad Ammo?!

I must say, Squad Cover is actually very nice to have. A few times I have ended up on 1% health after explosions and managed to fight another day, thanks to it. Most memorably I was in a side tunnel at Damavand when I saw an enemy way up ahead. He let loose a RPG which hit the wall right next to me. I was left with 1%, which allowed me to kill him 👍

Also, Thermal Optics in tanks = makes killing stuff so much easier.

Have you just recently unlocked it mate?
It makes life way easier in most situations. I takes a little bit to get used to while driving but once you're comfortable with it you'll never go back to not using it.
It can be amusing at times when someone is crouching behind a bush (Caspian is good for this) thinking they out of sight of the tank. Often in this case I'll run them over for the laughs and to plant a seed of doubt in the guys mind so he thinks it was just unlucky for him and I didn't see him. :sly:
I ran over the same guy three times in one round a while back. :lol:

Oof, laggy tonight when joining Blitz at Rush after SQDM nonsense (they were boosting, if you hadn't worked it out).

Still, was sort of fun at times. Shotgun nonsense needs to be tamed majorly though.

Bit of a mixed bag for me today, the games we played were fun. But I played again a bit later and a couple of games were so one sided (our way) that it wasn't really fun. The sort of game where you get about 4 kills and no deaths but because the opposition has no flags their tickets just drain away very quickly.

Oh well I'm hoping I can get on for a few hours again tonight.

I saw you two had squaded up but struggled to join the round as it was full. Eventually I just ended up in another squad on your team who were not too bad. I also tried breaking in a few new weapons today, so it was rough going :banghead:. You both exited at the end of the one round and I ended up getting clobbered at Caspian as the other team was pretty strong and we got outnumbered to boot.

I am also sucking hard at Noshahr these days, which is annoying, I used to be really good there.

Whew! It wasnt just me then... I wasnt hitting ANYTHING last night!?!?!?!?! Laggy, rubberbanding and I guess boosting... I hadnt worked that out.. :lol: I just wanted to win the matches and get the hell out! :p Next time we try i'll make sure we have 4 in a squad.

I was honestly having an off day last night... :p I was missing everything and it seemed like I had rubber bullets sometimes... Weird... The first couple of matches you and I were doing pretty well with the other two randoms who were also not bad.

Just 2 more matches to win now, then I don't have to touch that game mode anymore.. :lol:

Anyone know if I can activate my online code on a second ps3? My slim gets a wifi signal at work while my phat does not. All my info is in my phat though.

The slim is already authorized and I was able to download catwoman to both consoles for arkham city using one code.

I think you'll have to buy another one, but see if you can use the old one first.
 
After being away for a month it's nice to be online again.. And the influx of 'christmas noobs' means my drop in performance is negligible :)
Managed last night to finish what I'd started trying to get before I went away; all primary weapons to 100 kills.. Just got M4A1 to 500, now to get the .44 up to 500 (250 atm)..

Then to get all unlocks for all weapons..

It won't work on a 2nd machine, your best bet is to e-mail EA support and include your current online code (so they know you're genuine) and ask very nicely if they would supply you with a second code. Unlikely, but if you don't ask, you don't get.
