My game is acting all weird. Won't load online after the loading screen, disc doesn't have any scratches or anything on it I think though.
 
Only time will tell(or maybe DICE will tell....who knows), but I think the patch will probably come out sometime in March. It hasn't even gone into certification, which takes a while and there's only one week left for Feb.
 
I hope the patch fixes the B2K installation problem that I am having. It either freezes or has an error occur.

I didn't get the Scout Helo at the start of the round and was deferred to a misc seat of the Venom for a couple of minutes. When the Little Bird crashed I committed suicide and waited to spawn. Around the second base one of my teammates stole the AA tank so I didn't have to worry about it.

I just zapped infantry out of existence until the final point when the Defense got the AA tank back. The end of the round was spent spamming flares to evade AA missiles and trying to destroy the AA tank.

Fun times. :D
 
^ Ooohhh that will be nice for me... G18 is my permanent sidearm :) LoL

+1, still my sidearm of choice. The only real disadvantage is the small clip size but it's not to often a problem and you can also opt to go silenced at any time to take down an enemy without going for the knife.

I've also started using the .44 Magnum for pure entertainment value, it can do some real damage if you hit every shot but the slow fire rate is a real pain.

I see you've been online quite a bit... :) Hopefully I can join you for some ownage sessions on the battlefield soon 👍

And I'll give the M1911 a try when I go online again... Since I started I've only used the G17C and then the G18, which I find quite effective if you aim low and let the recoil bring the gun up. Drawback to that is in an intense situation, I forget to aim low and just shoot a whole clip over their heads.... :lol:

Well now I have my own disc and working internet I can be online alot :lol:.

The 1911, at least suppressed so I assume the others, you can pretty much fire as fast as you want and hit your target. I've tried other sidearms every now and then but none of them seem to stack up for me other than the .44 for badass factor.

And yes, yes it did. I was getting used to the idea that I'd just have to buy it myself again for a while but then it arrived on the day our internet started to work properly again.
 
^ I'm usually online with Dzidza and others around 21.00 CET or 20.00 GMT during the week.

Is this game crashing quite a bit for anyone else since the recent VOIP patch? It must've crashed about 15 times on me. Happens when I get to the main menu screen and when a match starts mostly.
 
^ I also had 2 crashes all of a sudden when the VOIP update was installed... before that I never had a freeze happen. Since those two freezes I havent had it happen again... *Knock on wood* :)
 
Mines crashed 2 or 3 times as well since the latest update, making me believe my PS3 is going to break to (for the 5th time!) but now I suddenly feel much better :lol:.

93R less recoil suits me though, my side arm on all classes unless I run with a rifle in Recon (use Shotgun a lot at the moment to unlock the 98B and final 2).

I'll be on tonight, don't expect a mic though. Been to dentist today and had a local injection, so am slurring :drool: < quite literally.
 
Frag rounds have completely ruined metro for me. It sucks when literally everyone on the other team is using them. I really can't see why the damage is being increased. Or actually why they are even in the game for that matter.
If I'm playing non hardcore and metro pops up I will usually just quit the round, its just not worth the aggravation.


As an engineer, where do enemy mines go when you pick them up. You can't use em, they just dissapear. Wouldn't be to bad if you got the 20 points for destroying enemy equipment, but you get nothing. :( IMO the engi class has a dissadvantage in gaining points. Recon has a bunch of ways to earn effortless points, same with support and assault.

It gets over used and is extremely unrealistic on regular game modes.
I wouldn't mind if you killed yourself in close range with it like with your own nades and c4. All other explosives will kill the player who used them if they within the blast radius. Also the range on them is rediculous. A round at Caspian, a Guy was libbing from gas station to checkpoint and getting kills. Yeah........

That's why I use the SMAW or RPG on the mines. I personally think Engineer gets a lot of points pretty quickly, I seem to level up that class extremely quick.

Ive had constant crashing ever since this game came out. Used to be ok after the B2K patch came out but its been doing it a lot more recently. Always seems to be on Caspian I have frozen on that map 4 times today, two of which were exceptionally annoying, was on a hot streak in a tank, freeze. Was just lifting off in a heli, freeze.

Had a couple on Noshahr as well. Always seems to be when you try and make the game load too many things at once, e.g. getting out of a vehicle and checking the score at the same time, or getting out and switching weapons.

Saw you joined us on Grand Bazaar I think Mike. Did take you a couple to come back over for what I remember, these long sessions really blend into one after a while. Yeah my buddy and I have got semi good in the helis now. We had a flawless run on Firestorm in the Kasatka earlier today, took out 2 Attack helis with it. Didnt get a single kill myself, but was still third on score, on account of the hover captures.

I believe only the frag rounds of pump action shot guns will be increased if I'm interpreting the quote right...

There is nothing specific about a USAS/Frag nerf yet in that list.

Such a waste of rockets though.
I do alright points wise when with competent vehicle drivers. Nothing worse than hoping out to repair only to have your driver leave you on the side of the road holding a torch.
As support or assault, load up a choke point with ammo/meds and watch the points start climbing. Engineers just don't have the option to set up a portable points factory.
But teamed with a good driver, you rack some serious repair points.
I gave up on the javelin, its useless without someone laze guiding for you. I would rather attack tanks with a couple quick rpgs. Add the squad explosive perks and you can carry 8 rockets.



Most of my complaints in this game are player related. Players who treat objective game modes like tdm, not drop ammo/Med etc. How hard is it to push left when over your mic and via the select button you here " I need ammo" "gimme some ammunition"I need ammo" etc....
Just push the effing button already.

As a sniper, equipment like tugs and beacon should be placed ever respawn.
