Sorry, typo on my end. It was supposed to read

Came out wrong. But they fxed the "glitch" with it so I just said it was nerfed.
 
Reported my first cheater today. Guy was unstoppable in the attack chopper.
He was taking out tanks with 2 rocket pods, beat me in a heli battle after I got 5 pod hit markers on him but then he hit me with 2 rockets and blew me up( no disable no warning just boom!), he wasn't even disabled.
He took me out with a single rocket pod while I had 100% health and was laying down in a building (undamaged building and I was on foot.).
Another instance I killed an enemy beacon and tugs then the enemy. All of a sudden this wanker spawned in front of me( we controlled the flag I was at) and takes an entire clip in the back from my g53 and a clip from my g18 only to turn around and fire one shot from his l86a2 to kill me from 100% health. He still had full health on kill cam and yes he was moving when I shot him.
What gets me about the last one is, how did he spawn out of no where, on a flag his team did not control.

Was typing on my daughters tablet. For some reason it has a 2 second delay on the keyboard sometimes. It gets really annoying trying to go back and fix things so I gave up trying.

Fixed it up a little for you. ;)

Could have been really bad lag. It's happened to me a few times in the past where I unload a clip into a guy and get OSK'd and the dude is on 100% health.

My worst example was when I unloaded more then half the clip of a M249 from 10m away into a guy and he shot me with pistol and walked away with 100% health. :indiff:.
 
May have been, but I wasn't the only one in game who could not kill him.
If it was lag it was the worst I've ever experienced.

I just had a go with one of the European members with a ping of about 150 and it was not too bad. I noticed a slight difference a few times, but it was not terrible at all.

Let me know how it goes. I have been somewhat afraid to try playing with the European players on my friend's list because I was not sure how the experience would go. Now that I know a 150 ping is not terrible, I may have to join them in games now.

Finally got around to testing this.
I found a server from Japan called "supernoobs only" anyone above rank 33 will be kicked. Suited me well. :lol:

Anyway the ping was 200ish when I started and it was playable for sure. I was more than holding my own and all was going well. Around half way through the round the lag became horrendous and under no circumstances could you play the game. I quit out and checked and the ping had become 403.

I'm guessing a bit here but 250 and over for the ping I wouldn't bother.

Thing that bugs me about it is that there is a distinct lack of choice of Aus and NZ servers (playable for me) on offer. :grumpy:

On the plus side my mate from work asked the other day if wanted to have a few rounds (PS3). Seems my extended break from BF3 hasn't stunted my enjoyment, if anything I keen to get back into it regularly.

@ Mike, you up for some possible tank ownage on Friday night?

I find playing on far away servers is ok if you aren't trying to run and gun, I've played a couple of times on Aussie servers via Mike and done just fine if I don't play to aggressive or the ping does become an issue much like it does in Call of Duty where run and gun is basically the entire game.
 
Drag, it seems to me that it more of an issue on PC. The round I was playing was at Kharg and it didn't make a difference, on foot, in tank whatever it was unplayable. Screen was that jerky it was like playing a game at around 5 FPS.

On the other hand on the PS3 I can play West Coast US servers without a problem, even some Euro servers aren't an issue.

Shame really for myself as BF3 on the PC really does shine.

Is it only on PC that you can take out a grenade without throwing it instantly and carry around boxes of ammo and health? I've seen people do that in videos on YouTube, but I cannot do that myself.

:confused: Are you being serious?, I dont mean that in a bad way, Just making sure before i answer it :lol:

Anyway, Health pack's are exclusive for assault class, And Ammo Pack's for Support. Press right Directional button to drop them.👍
 
I was very aware of that they're for different classes. And I know how to use them, but they drop when I press the button, I can't hold.

I'm not sure how people do it on console but it can be done, my brother said you have to press the button to use the thing then hold the fire button to do it or something... On PC you just have to press 3 (gadget one), 4 (gadget 2), 5 (grenade) or 6 (knife) or use the mouse wheel to cycle through them.

Good games neema. 👍 Love the teamwork like at Bazaar, makes this game much more enjoyable.

I've managed to hold boxes sometimes, but that must be a glitch, because if I try the excact same thing again it just drops it. But grenades especially, I have never managed to hold one, it throws instantly when I press the button.

Yeah, great fun, but that game where we were on opposite sides was terrible for me... I have no idea what my team was thinking!

It may have been a server issue also. I have been on a few server where the server just completely craps out. When it comes to finding Australia/New Zealand, just keep at it. The server filter is not the best. I have quite a few servers favourited and I also play on a quite a few on my History list also; I find that the easiest way to get into games quickly.

I dont see why you would want to do it as it doesnt "cook" the grenade, The player justs holds it before throwing, But the time of detanation is the same as if you were to just throw it normally.

Yes, it's no big deal, but just why? And cooking grenades would be very nice to have, I can't see why they didn't include it.
 
When you push the throw button also push the shoot button.
The benefit of holding the grenade is being able to aim your tgtows better. If you decide to not throw, push the change weapon button and you will put the grenade away and pull out you primary.

As for holding Med and ammo boxes, have never tried but would imagine its the same, or maybe just holding the directional pad. Have a teammate stick some c4 on it and you are now a suicide bomber minus the suicide and 72 virgins.
 
Just got banned by a butthurt admin for the first time. :ouch:
Sent him a message basically saying it's a shame that I got banned from one of my favourited servers because of a butthurt admin.
The admin replied it was because I'm american, which I could understand since it's a french server and it could be done to minimise lag.
However, I'm not american. He could have made a mistake since I have English (United States) set as my language (There's no Slovenian option).
But I doubt he did actually do it because of that, since coincidentally he did it right after I killed him.

So I replied explaining that I am in fact not from the US and said 'Have a nice day' in Slovenian. :lol:
He'll think I swore at him and will never let me back on the server again. :lol:

I've started playing a little more again. Started out one game where I'm convinced the chopper pilot was hacking somehow. I think he got to 45-0 killing people all over the map without being taken down before he was kicked. He even got me through a building wall which I know is possible but still... I just don't get the point of cheating a video game.
