I also hate when I jump out to repair a tank that's in the middle of battling another tank and the driver gets out and runs for safety, leaving me to die because I hadn't realized he jumped out and hid like a coward.

I second that.

Also I and probably you too hate it when you get out to repair a vehicle and the passenger takes your vehicle and drives away or doesn't give you your spot back.
And when they drive away and you die as a result of it.
When they take it and drive away my first priority it to team kill them. I hate that crap.

Of course they team kill you back usually at least. My method after that is to shoot one shot at them with a pistol and usually they will team kill you. I repeat this till they get kicked. I do this because someone selfish like that i don't even want them in the room so if they get kicked i am usually happy

Yeah. If I'm a gunner and the driver jumps out to repair, I'll take the driver seat until it's repaired to about 95%, just so the tank is still usable to it's fullest during that time, but I always return to the gunner seat.

Yep same here.

When I'm tanking I'll stay in the tank no matter what, if I'm the driver I mean. If I'm against a tank and I don't have one of my own, I'll run at it (regardless of my kit) in the hope that I don't get killed and harass the driver into hopping out, I watch the minimap and as soon as the tank turns white I tap E to get in even if the tank is burning. I try to make sure they have no chance of repairing it and getting back to the fight, even if that means I have to kill myself, because it leaves them with a long walk home at least!

I'd say 75% of the time I get killed by the tank, 10% I'll persuade the driver to leave, hop in and then get team killed because it was burning out from friendly damage, 5% of the time I'll hop in and the enemy will kill me but that last 10% I'll get in, kill the driver and drive away, keep that tank for quite some time and make good use of it. I'm relatively decent when it comes to tanks but rarely choose to take one of my own team's, I much prefer taking theirs! Same goes for scout choppers.

Also once I chased a tank into the Siene, much to the amusement of my squadmates. I was an assault, too; no C4 or anything that could do any real damage. I had been going for a steal but he just kept reversing into, then through, the wall and into the river.

My friend has done that a few times as an assault. Just ran up to the tank with his defibrillator out and the enemy jumped out of the tank.

I've even done it as a recon a few times.

I had a serious laugh-attack when I read that... just imagining your teammates hugging the wall, about to flank the enemy and then they see a tank reversing for its life with an Assault chasing it.

I finished all the unlocks for the Mk3A1... finally.

The best part of that is I never ever have to use that terrible thing ever again.

That's pretty much how it went, the tank had just fired its cannon towards two of them as it came around the corner, heading towards the middle bridge, so they hit the deck behind cover and I was sort of to their left (the tank's right) so I ran at it while it was reloading. I figured he probably thought he'd be able to extend the gap and hit me when he reloaded but he timed it badly or was pointing in the wrong direction so he ended up going for a brief swim!

Shame moments like that aren't more common than those moments where you empty half a magazine in a guy but he manages to kill you with two hits before you kill him. And then it says he had 75% health when he killed you.

Everyone I know has said the same thing!

Or time and time again you hit a guy on his temple with a sniper rifle, only to get a hitmarker and when he kills you, he has 0% health in HARDCORE MODE!!!!!

3 service stars/350 kills was more than enough for that jackhammer.

Also, the M39 EMR doesn't seem as good as it should be. Poor hit detection, and I won't get into how I feel the sniper rifles in general are nerfed too much at close range.

I just have to say that I had BF3 on console (x360) and with my recent awesome PC build i decided to get BF3 premium for PC... night and day difference between the games!!
It isn't even about the visuals and graphics and better frame rate that is on PC (ultra settings, fully maxed out, looks amazing). The larger maps and 64 player MP gameplay just makes this game feel like an entirely different one. Amazing to say the least!!

Brings me back to the BF2 craze I once had!

I just got onto PC BF3 as well and you're right it is a completely different game though I can't say it's 'better'. I'm amazed at how many players are really terrible. Really, really terrible. I'm still figuring out the mouse and keyboard so I'm not great, maybe average, but at least I know about things like positioning. It's amazing the deaths I get on PC.

^ You might be the only one. (edit: unless that credit was no credit at all)

If I'm going to use a shotgun that isn't pump action, I think I'd use the SPAS-12 or the DAO-12.

I haven't even got around to using the Saiga yet. I think I have 10 kills, and those 10 kills came a long time ago.

The Saiga is a good gun, but I think the DAO has more stopping power.

I love the Saiga, the DAO-12 is better from my experience (pretty much only on Canals TDM) but, well, there's not really that much in it. The M1014 is fun too, but if I use a shotgun it's usually the Saiga. But I rarely ever do that because, as I said before, I avoid unsuppressed guns like the plague (unless I'm playing TDM, of course).

What's up everyone? Got a quick question, in ya'll opinion, what assault rifle or submachine gun has the least amount of vertical recoil..?

Because for some reason, before my HDD got corrupted last week, I didn't have much recoil on my guns, after reinstalling and reupdating, my guns jump all over the place.

My first game in a few weeks and I went 88-30 on Ziba 500%. Joined late to. :p

Psh.... show-off! Jk. I can only manage to pull that off if I haven't played an FPS in a long time. Ie; COD. My friends go berserk when they see me doing 121-9 in Black Ops 2.

I found when I started playing BF3 I couldn't aim for crap with automatic guns. So I used the shotties until I got it down then I moved on to the guns. Now I'm fine.
