I do find that I do better when I go from semi-auto/single shot back to full auto/burst weapons.

Also, I pick which weapon I use based on my upcoming unlocks.

What's up everyone? Got a quick question, in ya'll opinion, what assault rifle or submachine gun has the least amount of vertical recoil..?

Because for some reason, before my HDD got corrupted last week, I didn't have much recoil on my guns, after reinstalling and reupdating, my guns jump all over the place.

Well the QBZ has almost no vertical recoil. That gun's recoil is pretty much all side-to-side. Same thing with the MP7.

And in general, the ACW-R doesn't kick much at all. Period.

Had a funny moment last night.

Came round a corner to find 3 guys facing me at close range and they all had automatic weapons. I managed to drop 2 of them with my M240B before the third killed me.

They must of been like how the hell did he do that?
 
I nearly had 2 multikills yesterday thanks to some completely mindless medics. No suppressor on the SKS and I'm standing within 5 feet of the guys I was killing all the while medics just run right by me to revive the ones I killed. Just couldn't get the kills fast enough. 4 double kills.

Then in the 2nd attempt at a multikill, it all started because I caught them off guard and the support noob throws a piece of C4 at me trying to get me. :lol: I got killed shortly after when I emptied the SKS and the 1911 and had no other weapons to switch to.
 
So I just got BF3 as my free game from the Simcity debacle...
 
Can somebody tell me what's going on here..

I'm attempting to do the assignment 'My Own Terminator' to get the MTAR-21, and the requirements are to get a kill with the EOD bot and get a 100 kills with carbines.. I've been keeping track myself, and I haven't even got the kill with the EOD bot listed.. it took me 2 very long conquest matches to get that kill! :(

Do I have to do the requirements on the Close Quarters maps?

That's strange. I got my kill on Operation Metro. I gave a sniper a burning sensation. It even said I got the kill.

Now that I'm looking, it doesn't even look like the assignment is unlocked.. man, what gives?!

Nope, I'm working on that and the MTAR at the same time. The ACW-R assignment says I have 30 carbine kills, but the MTAR-21 assignment says I have 0/100 kills with carbines..

Aren't they both under Engineer?

You have to complete the ACR-W assignment first.

In other news I seem to have a love for the F2000. Although by the sounds of it I should love it. If it primarily only used by special forces it must be expensive.

I'm not a fan of it unless I'm using it close range and with Holo. The recoil's just too high for its power.

Strange. I don't seem to be getting any recoil problems. In fact I am currently using a heavy barrel and no foregrip.
 
That Drop Ship assignment is a pain in the ass. It takes forever to get an IFV and when I do I can never find an enemy IFV. :grumpy:

Have to unlock some before others are unlocked. It's a bit of a nuisance but it's not that big of an issue.

Yeah, that's true. I've had BF3 for a good while now, but didn't play it much because my friends went to play Black Ops II and never came back. Said BF3 was too hard for them. Guess I've missed out on quite a bit of information. Now I'm 17 AT kills away from that lovely ACW-R and then on my way to that MTAR-21.
 
I did all the Endgame assignments in under 2 days of on and off gameplay (not 2 days solid :P), I can't comprehend why people are having so much trouble with them. IMO they're pretty easy and simple. Even intheworksmedia (very popular utuber) moaned about how it took him over 2 weeks to get the S-Tac. I just don't get where you could come unstuck on them tbh.

I don't really play BF3 much. That's why its been taking me a little longer. Plus, I don't be looking at the assignments, I just play.

Same, I just let them come naturally... I like the surprise of a new weapon.

My first question was a mistake (cos I'm blind and didn't see the point already suggested a multitude of times, I blame my phone LOL).

The second wasn't aimed at you specifically, Just my thoughts on the End Game assignments wich many have found "difficult or time consuming. ;) ........

Which they are not! :P

Yeah, that's how I be. Like the last gun I unlocked, the Aug.. I was like.. "Woah, sweet!"

These past 2 days are the most I've been on BF3 in the past couple months.

Ah, I haven't even looked the assignments. They can't be hard, its just some of the things the assignments want you to do, I really don't use.. ala rocket launchers..
 
A small plea for help:

I recently moved on to PC and got myself BF3, which is awesome and everything but I miss something in particular from my PS3 time in the 'Field.

The L85A2, which is going to be a real struggle for me to get the 5 SQDM wins required for completion. Are there any good PC players here who can help pull me through to my beloved AR? On PS3 I have the ability to pull others where on PC I most certainly do not so I'm going to need a crutch if I want it any time soon. I will try to get it myself of course and hopefully I get lucky but I don't have high hopes.

I'm like you and got myself the PC version and am working on unlocking all the guns I had in the PS3 game. I'm also not looking forward to trying for those 5 SQDM wins.
