Well I wouldn't say I'm good exactly but I am in your time zone at least! I'd be happy to help, though I haven't played in ages.

I found it's down to the server and map as well as the squad, I got four of my five wins on a 32 player SQDM on Canals. It was absolute chaos but I and a couple of others managed to eke out above average scores with shotguns because a lot of people decided to try and snipe instead for some reason. The fact that there were more people in our squad using shotguns than in any other squad meant we won by a decent margin each time. Also you pretty much have to be a medic because reviving a dead squad mate denies the killer their kill, obviously.

A small plea for help:

I recently moved on to PC and got myself BF3, which is awesome and everything but I miss something in particular from my PS3 time in the 'Field.

The L85A2, which is going to be a real struggle for me to get the 5 SQDM wins required for completion. Are there any good PC players here who can help pull me through to my beloved AR? On PS3 I have the ability to pull others where on PC I most certainly do not so I'm going to need a crutch if I want it any time soon. I will try to get it myself of course and hopefully I get lucky but I don't have high hopes.

I am not a great player, but I am solid and will be a team player. However, I am in the States and that could be a hindrance teaming up. I have played some with neema though and it is usually not too bad on connection.

I'm assuming that attempting to get 20 AT.. or to be funny, AH rocket kills, is looked down upon when you just run around the map killing the same guy 5 times straight..

Me of little faith! I have got the wins required so can just work on pro piping and AR kills now which is much less frustrating. Even somehow managed to get MVP and pull the team once. Good training exercise for me as well, vastly improved my abilities in a short period of time.
 
I would be on BF3 feeding people rockets right now, but I'm downloading Defiance, Demon's Souls, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater - HD Edition.
 
Got a couple questions for you guys, how is the A-91 carbine? Does it do any justice in ya'll opinion? Also, why is it that when you aim a RPG or something to the sort at an enemy's knees or feet, they won't die? I've been having to headshot people with RPGs and that's not the easiest sport to do..

I got the ACW-R, woot!!

They reduced RPG splash damage to make it much less useful against infantry because too many noobs were using them because they didn't want to use guns and wanted easy one hit kills.

Also the A-91, I don't see it that often but it seems decent enough. It used to be very, very good but I think it got nerfed to the extent that the G36C, SCAR-H and so on were better in almost every area. They might have buffed it again after that but I don't know.

Ah, understandable. I've been switching between the ACW-R and the A-91. They both seem pretty decent to me. I'm just trying to get a grasp on the better handling guns so I can finally move away from the FAMAS..
 
The A91 is especially good with hipfire, it's on the level with the MTAR.

My favorite engenieer weapon is the G53 though. Such an underrated weapon!
 
I agree on the g53. At one point i broke the top 50 players uaing that gun according to bf3stats.com. i then switched to support class so i havent been using it much anymore.

The A-91 Is a solid carbine, I'd really recommended fitting the foregrip though the as it suffers from heavy horizontal recoil.

You don't mean the SG553 do you? Sorry, I don't know all of the guns.

Tree'd. But, to add on, you need to get a total co-op score of 120,000.

My favourite too by far. Heavy barrel and a nice sight and it's just so versatile, there's no real disadvantage to the G53 other then a perhaps slightly below average fire rate but I find that to be more often an advantage as it's super controllable without being slow.
 
When did BF3 get an auto-equip for gun attachments? I'm sitting here using a ACW-R and it equipped the Reflex Scope and Laser Sight automatically..

I seen I unlocked the laser, and next thing I know, I was standing beside a building and I seen a laser sight. I thought somebody was trying to line me up, but realized that it was my gun.. the next words out my mouth.. "Wait.. how the.. damnit! I died!"

No, I meant the SG553. Thanks for the info guys. Thr G36C is good, but I dont really use it. Time to call uo my mates, see which one can do co-op with me, and we're good.

But yeah, auto-equiping happens to me at least 2 times every match. One time, it gave me the 93R butst fire pistol fir the Support class even though I havent unlocked it in co-op yet.... then it took it away from me :(
