cool thing ! and I have a nice round number of deaths already :)

the signature creator is pretty cool :)

Hopefully it works, as it hasn't been showing up on my other forum for days.

me gunning from a week or so ago.

oh noes, mah virgin earz. fine to show destruction and people being killed, but its necessary to warn about language :p

I'd give it 1/10 for bad language.........Considering this was taken of x-box live! I therfore conclude you were playing with the local convent. All the same be wary of stretching/breaking forum rules.

Yeah, Im level 4. 300 kills. It's like Im stuck in 4th. What game mode do you play at most? And which is better to get most points?

I watch others have millions of points and so on, I only have 36k.

Hey Tomaz...

I usually play Conquest or Rush on normal... Make sure youre in a squad too, you get more points for helping people in your own squad. I accumulated the most points by playing Medic :) If you play Medic and you open up the med kits and defribilators, you can rack up many points in a round.. All you have to do is hang back a bit and just keep healing and reviving people while providing cover fire... I've used this technique a lot already and will usually amass me quite a few points in a round... usually 3000+ battle points and then whatever awards and stars you unlock... Once you get around level 10 it'll go a lot quicker when you open up patches and such... They can be worth 5000 or 10000 points and that gets added on to your score as well... 👍 If you notice youre getting a lot of pins while playing a match youre on the right track 👍

Yeah, true to that. I'm 9th now. Unlocked few nice weapons. Really have great time. Tnx for tips, but hardcore mode is awesome. No aim point on default, you have to aim for aim cursor, no map and so on. Meaning being in squad ... you mean playing squad rush and squad conquest or also just rush?

btw. yesterday I saw snipers jumping from trees to trees and hanging there. If you play hardcore mode there is no kill-cam after you die so basicly it's hard to notice where killer came from.

Also just Rush... I played Squad DM over the weekend and that was pretty cool too...

just sad SDM has just 4 maps.

looking forward to 30th for new maps.

Really I was under the impression that Squad DM took place on any of the Conquest or Rush maps... Or is that Squad Rush?

I still refuse to play those squad modes, just feels wrong to me to play Battlefield like that. To me one of BFs party pieces is scale, 2 big teams with plenty of tools fighting it out over objectives and not just kills. I know I wouldn't enjoy the deathmatch, I may eventually try squad rush but I'm in no hurry at all.

 I agree Dragonistic. I thought it was cool, but still prefer Conquest or Rush. I am really digging Rush mode at the moment as I feel thats the most balanced game mode... no Base Raping etc. So I have been playing a lot of Rush lately! :)

I'm finding both about equal so far, Rush is nice because it's more focused geographically on a smaller area so you often get a more intense struggle for ground whereas Conquest allows much vaster movements and smaller conflicts dotted around the entire map.

You hit the nail on the head there and ^^this is my problem if im not playing with a squad of people I know. If im not in a "known" squad and just with randoms I'm always somewhere the battle is not happening. Then I try to get there and by then the action has moved somewhere else.. :)

Well looks like I have been missing all the fun. Took a little vacation and headed to Texas for Spring Break. I took my PS3 I bought back in October and the Blu-ray drive went out while we were there, I guess I get to deal with Sony today and have them fix it since its still under warranty. Should be on later today for some rounds.

i don't know the exact names of the SDM but there are only 4 and yes Srush has more maps.

I like SDM to screw my K/D ratio up as it is pretty sad ratio (not like in mag :D)
But for real good matches rush or conquest are the best. SDM have very little maps (understandable)

Like yesterday, on a rush ii got so owned, was medic at first and did just xp by medicing, and got shoot an aweful lot. 7/18 :(

My KDR certainly dropped as a Medic, although by no means would those KDRs be considered bad. My most impressive Medic match was a long Rush game on Defence, eventually won. With 34 kills and 28 deaths I did pretty ok on that front (thats about 2000 points worth from kills there), but I finished the game with a combat score of over 8000 with rewards added onto that as well although no major awards I did of course nail the Ace Pin and Gold Squad for my buddies.

not bad.
But i have never enough patience. I "always" "rush" on enemy positions s thats explains my KD ratio.

Did you ever beat that 74 kills game you had with me and Tommi on that jungle rush map?

So long as you don't rush directly head on you can get away with it, look to come in from the sides rather then face the full force of their attention, or better yet get all the way around and close in behind relatively unseen if possible. You can then create absolute havoc giving your team the vital lifeline in order to advance.

Of course if you're on defense, don't rush at all! Ironically that big score game I had should have been over on the first base, but EVERYONE bar myself and one other decided to charge forward on defense because we'd had an easy time up until them, that gave them the gap to come in airborne and get that base. I was kind of pleased we lost that first base and had to fight so hard to win, my team needed to learn a lesson from such overconfidence, it was incredibly stupid to rush out especially on that particular map where they get two blackhawks on that base.

And no Blitz, 74 is still my maximum, it wasn't as high score wise as that Medic game, but 74 kills is a silly amount really . If we'd have had a better team with us I'd not have needed to take up so much slack myself to pull out a big surprise victory for us. I thought we were done for early on but we kept going at it and winning the round felt great before I'd even seen the scores. It was essentially our squad V the entire enemy team.

Yup that was a hectic match indeed but when you came on the mic and said you had 74 kills I was like WHOA.... thats a lot in this game... Is it correct for me to think that score is more important in this game than KDR... ? I ask this because my KDR is rubbish... but I blame that on the objective based game modes :)

Of course score is generally more important, the objective isn't to just kill, so you can easily win with a terrible KDR is you work correctly. Not to mention some classes take a clear lean towards KDR (Recon anyone?) and will simply result in better KDRs but a Medic is just as important if not more so, even if they don't get all the kills each heal can save precious tickets and essentially reverse someone elses death, on that basis someone on the other team may be credited a kill, but it means NOTHING in the actual end result.

To an extent even score is irrelevant, as one or two moments of good play can swing a game completely and tip things upside down. That said, there's a reason why reviving, healing, destroy vehicles, resupplying and repairing gives ALOT of points, as well as even more points to be had from spotting and kill assists.

I played some excellent rounds earlier by myself and then squadded up with Cale and a couple of his friends, but unfortunately it seems EA is still oblivious to the problems with its servers. Over the past couple of days ive had some serious lag, I lost my stats and weapons numerous times and disconnected way too much. To top it off my ps3 crashed earlier just after a rank up and a couple of gun unlocks.YAY!:grumpy:

Still think the game is awesome and when you get with the right people you can have some truly epic matches:tup:, it's just a shame the servers are STILL not up to scratch.

Oh my god screw ea they have the worst online servers in the world i'm raging so hardf right now oh my god screw ea aaaaaarrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh aaaahahahahaahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa nnnnnnnnhhhhhhhhhnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggg

I played yesterday for a while and the servers ran to perfection, no lag, no disconnections, no random loss of weapons (and I know what you're talking about with that it's happened once). I honestly haven't had alot of trouble with this game at all, in my near 50 hours I think I've disconnected maybe 4-5 times from matches and experienced noticable lag twice. I know it sounds like I'm understating the problem, but I simply haven't had any real isues at all.

I havent had many problems either... I think one time with Tommi and mr_geez I had it that we lost our unlocks but exiting the game and going into a new match solved that one... For the rest no disconnects or lag.... I have had a couple of freezes.... but nothing serious.

Between GOW3 sessions i've played a bit of BF and realized how some conquest matches are just base rape a thons. Good fun regardless. I do wonder though why people steal my vehicles when i'm at a perfect position to pick off dozens of enemies only to have them drive it right into a anti tank mine..
