I didn't compensate for bullet drop and it was a long shot. I am only at level 11 and just found out about the armor upgrade which I have not received yet.
 
I don't think body armor should protect against headshots. Also my friend and I experimented with bullet drop and it's very insignificant.
 
Depends really on how far you are... I was sniping most of the time today on top of the mountain near the first M-Com station. I was shooting guys way over to the second to last base with the M95 i picked up. That thing is loud! Anyway, from that distance, i had to point the crosshair one click up to get a head shot...
 
I see some people using a parachute, how do I get it? Is it a rank thing?

On another topic... Boosters !!! ARGGHHH

Jumped into a game today and said yes put me in a squad.
First map, we are attacking and 2 of my squad are sitting behind our spawn, behind the yellow bus boosting... So I plugged the mic in and let rip at them but you can imagine this achieved nothing.

So I got a tank.
Came back in my tank and just started blasting their little p3nis party to bits... eventually they gave up and tried to find another location so I followed them there too and repeated the assault with the tank.

Finally they gave up altogether, and the game became nothing but childish abuse from them as they sat in a little room and camped/sniped and abused.
Solution ?

Spawn on them, then Tracer dart in the middle of their face. This dart and its location prevents them from being able to scope (Im guessing from the torrent of abuse received for doing this) It also means they stand out against a black window : )

Funny stuff and mission accomplished.

Second game wasn't bad, 14/4. But yeah, I'm terribly rusty: and the other people have gotten better. Rank 34!? How much do these guys play this game!

I also need a headset, but your conversations were useful.

Haha, your not that bad, I've seen a lot worse anyways :) Besides me and Tommi tend to be stuck to that game all the time so we've got quite a bit of practise. ;)

Glad the conversations were useful, although sometimes a bit over the top but we get quite into it at times. :lol:

Okay, I guess we'll just have to agree that I'm "bad". :p I need much more practice: but I don't think it'll really help very much. As I said before, I am awful at all FPS (it's some kind of law). I actually think I like the original game better. I like the maps a lot more.

I laughed a few times at things that were said; it was enjoyable. :sly: It's good to get into it.

The three of us made a good team though, especially when me and you were in the tank.👍 I had a lot of fun. We'll have to do it again at some point:)

It helps having a good driver. 👍 I had a lot of fun too, we definitely have to do it again. I'll try to wrangle up a headset at some point...

I played again an hour and a half ago and it was a bunch of...really really lousy people. Or at least they seemed lousy compared to what we faced. Waaay easier than when I was playing with you guys. I was in the tank with someone and we must have blown up about 4 enemy tanks before they even noticed us. Honestly they were just...driving by like we were invisible.

Also, there was something really funny. :lol: There were these two guys who were huddled in one of those corrugated metal "shacks" on the base, and I spawned on them. They were on the headsets so they said something like "Don't go outside, man! There's a guy up on the rocks!". Now, they must have thrown about 4 motion sensors and they were getting nothing. I was skeptical so after a few moments I left cautiously. I had to run...so... far...! They were about 2 bases behind.

And then they stayed there continuing to complain about this guy on the rocks for 10 minutes.


It's only one guy! And there are two of you! It's not like if you die you die permanently.

But it was okay, it's not like I actually...needed their help or anything. Though I'm not sure I'd want it.

ahaha i always do that everytime i get a revenge kill or knife someone :lol:

also love jihad bombing. i fill the atv with 6 C4s and kamikaze myself on tanks. Got me a 5 kill combo once; 2 tanks, 2 passengers, 1 bystander. Even if tanks are about 7-10 meters away, it'll still blow up :D

I've recently started to get really into road killing and driving Humvies (Wtf how are you supposed to spell that?) right into the thick if it like an idiot. Ran over a whole squad at once today. XD
 
Beta ends on December 21st :( Demo comes out January 3 :D

I wonder if anything will be different in the demo? (Different map/vehicle etc)

Well, they posted a vid of a new map called Panama? I guess that'll be in the demo... im tired of achira harbor.

I wish I could be in this beta. All the gameplay videos are looking excellent. BF2 will be a must buy when it comes out. I will pick it up for the 360.

Yup. I'm sad. In the meantime, ill occupy myself with MW2. I suck at it. IDK why. I average a 1:2 kd ratio while i get 4:1 on BFBC :(
