lol be thankful you dont suffer the lag us Aussies do then... my bullets have to travel halfway around the world before finding their target. Net result is I get shot lots.
I know if I get into a 1v1 face off at moderate to close range.... im toast.
 
Just mowed down 7 oblivious guys from their exposed flank with the m60 :D my highlight so far in the beta! "What a bunch of noobs!" :D
 
I hate LMGs. They still hold way too many bullets. Still spray and pray guns IMO. Does anybody else lag like a beast? I'm sure it's my router but nobody else I play with lags to the extent I do. Walking past the same thing 13 times FTL.
 
LMGs are fine. The M60 can kill with just 2-3 bullets on the upper torso, and its pretty accurate too. The only downside for medics is that they don't have defense for tanks. I guess that's how they balanced the game. I still don't know why the Recon has C4 though. Just pointless.

And no. No lag for me.
 
Recon with 870mcs shotty + C4 + motion sensor = serious devastation in close : ) 1 shot kill up to around 30 yards (especially with the shotgun perks you can unlock)

Go have some good ol fashion shotty fun !!!
 
I just realized that this game gets released the same month as GT5 (maybe?). So far the Beta is fun and I would most likely buy it, but if GT5 is released as scheduled this game would most likely be shelved. On a seperate note the parts (thermal Fuses) came in for my 55" Sony today, I will most likely do the repair on Sunday. I have been reluctant on playing anything since my TV went down....but soon it will be up again so I will see you guys online soon.

Well, most likely GT will be out a month or so after March. This game will keep me company
on those lonely 2 months. Haven't even played GT5:P for awhile... my G25 is dusting up.

When I lived in Cali I had a connection to EA and any game even new releases where only $25. Wish I still had that connection!!!👍

Anyway, i still need more than 200,000 pts to get the M16 :grumpy:
 
Just spawn on a squad member that is standing on the platform. I'm less than 100,000 away from the M16 I think.

Wow that's ace Masi! My best score is 5300 pts. For the most part because I did alot of kills with the gun on the tank (attack).

Is it me or is this demo alone better than MW2?

Walked around with an M24 and 4x scope for a little bit. Good fun.

Thanks :D my previous best scores were around that area, too. 5000-6000.

I don't know. To me, they're just two different games. I favor BC2 obviously, but MW2 is great game on its own right.

Played a few matches earlier, finally discovered some of the noobs who spawn kill and ruin the general experience for everybody else.👎:grumpy:

It was a couple of Ok rounds, but your right a lot of noobs. My son and I played a few rounds on BBC2 and had a great time. I actually got to spend some quality time on this game. At first its frustrating getting shot everytime you turn around, but I learned to use cover really quickly. Like you guys said in earlier posts, it definitely helps to work as a team in this game. I like the way you can unlock items through the game it keeps it interesting considering you play the same map over and over.👍
 
We should team up tomorrow. I'll be off at 1:30 pacific if thats ur time zone. Im sure tommi will be on, too. Just like it used to be in 1943 :)

Good games on bad company 2 wish they would add helicopters and boats to beta.
 
Been having fun using the shotgun w/slug. I've already gotten 2 messages saying that I haxx0r and that shotguns don't shoot that far. Headshots with this are so satisfying.

ya im pretty good with a shotgun at far distances but not really close range which is very weird?

Excellent rounds with you and Tommy. Masi showed up later but I had a killer headache brewing (no pun intended). The thing frustrating me about this game is the same as BF 1943 when you shoot someone. I tried being the sniper and performed a textbook headshot, saw blood, but no kill and this was multiple times. I have shot people numerous times, they turn and one shot and I am dead? I have been experimenting with various guns but it is still hit or miss whether the person goes down or not? Don't get me started on the tanks! All in all it is still good fun and playing with a squad of friends makes it that much better:tup:

*** I think I figured out how people are living during a headshot, they are placing the medic pack in front of them and shooting while staying stationary on it to keep them healing after being shot?
 
You may have been experiencing lag a bit when those headshots do not kill the enemy. I lag hardcore 75% of the time and while my bullets come out of my gun they don't do any damage to the person shot.

My guess is that your not compensating for the bullet drop. How far are your targets?

It takes about 2 shots to the upper torso to take someone down due to body armor, but ive killed a few guys close up with one shot, from probably 5-10 meters away.
