I guess i'll have to wait a bit for some M1 Garand action videos.
 
Yeah the main difference is when he goes to reload. The clip/mag is in the conventional spot and doesn't just pop out of the top like the M1.
 
I'm selling my PS3 to buy a new laptop :(

But before that, ill be in the demo... just won't be there at full release.

Anyone got a spare beta key for PC ? I tried it on console but didn't like it very much for some reason, and I think it's due to the controls (too much used to COD me think). But I'm sure it'll look and feel awesome on my PC though.

There's some websites giving them away, like fileplay.net and I think fileplanet.com too. I got mine on twitter directly from a Dice developer.
 
I believe filplanet checks the IP of people and won't give you one unless you are a US resident.
 
Yeah, I figured that would be the case. I didn't realise at first it was only for America.
 
I know a bunch of people over here got their keys from fileplay.net, don't know if they'll be giving more though.

If you pre order the game you get a key for the beta. I think I'll pre order mine from Steam, if I do I'll give you the spare key in case you didn't get one yet.
 
I was hoping for better graphics :/ The explosions are quite nice, though, and destructible walls are nice. My name is Gabkicks ingame, if anyone wants to add me :)
 
I've read that the demo graphics on xbox weren't as good as the PS3 beta? Anyone play both that can confirm this?

Cool man, I'll join you on the demo tomorrow evening then! Should be fun... riding in tanks together is a hoot... had quit a few owning sessions with Mr_V in BF1943 like that ... :lol:

So I tried the demo. I can't say that I am impressed. Gameplay feels sluggish, screen tearing all over the place. Certainly not the smoothness from BF1943. May try it a bit more later on, but so far, this demo is not tempting me to buy it.

For those who have downloded it what is your opinion so far?
It's to hectic for me as there's so much going on.
 
I played some more rounds, was much less sluggish than this afternoon. Still framerate drops when it gets busy though. But the gameplay is pretty solid, many people actually working together and using their skills/gadgets properly. 👍 Feels like a true Battlefield game.
 
Feels like Badcompany to me. I'm liking it. Graphics are fine, map is good. If you spent a fair amount of time playing the beta, you are going to own all the newbs for a while : )
