I really like it. I never played the beta version but i am very very satisfied with the online portion. I'm not going to compare it with another FPS everyone and the grandma is playing but i will say that it's much more fun (to me).

The graphics aren't midblowing but they are good, the grain from the previous BFBC has been cleaned up alot, but there is some screen-tearing.

The sounds...AWESOME. The last game had set the standard for gun/explosion sounds and BC2 is no exception. Anyone who actually fired a real gun can appreciate it.

Controls: Typical FPS the controls are smooth, can't really compain at all.

I will be buying this game. And will trade in CODmw2 at the same time. BFBC seems like it's going to be a great little game. I'm sure that anyone who liekd the first one will love the second.

It has taken me well over four hours to download so ive only had time to play for about 3/4 hour:grumpy:, but it was worth the wait! For a start the guns are so much better than in the beta, they feel a lot more weighted and different to each other - the LMG's are the most noticeable to me. You can no longer just 'run and gun' with them anymore like noobs did in the beta. Quick bursts of fire whilst stationary will destroy any infantry coming towards you.:sly:
My only moan is nothing to do with the game but some of the players who hide in the bushes and behind rocks when you play as attacker and spawn kill.
Miles better than BC2.👍(And that wasn't bad either)

The full game is going to kick even more ass! :D

My best score so far:

Actually, on my end, the install took longer than the download.

I'll be on tonight for some more rounds!

First impressions of the Demo are good... I havent noticed the screen tearing as much as others have... The graphics looks solid, not the best ive seen, but better than the previous installment which was grainy... The action is great though! I love being able to go in tanks and such to destroy enemies :) I had a little seesion with Mr_V in a tank where we were owning the newbs on the other team really bad... we ended up 1 and 2 after the game ended :D The guns seem nice and having no aim assist is a blessing :) For the rest I have to spend some more time with it but it feels like BF:BC and I believe Dice have been looking at CoD as well... there was a lot of stuff reminding me of CoD in it now... Overall gameplay is a lot quicker though, I know this because I was practicing on the old one for this demo, which is pretty slow compared to CoD or this installment of BF... Hopefully I can get some sessions going tonight :)

PS... That map is HUGE by the way... Had a game yesterday where I was on a pretty good team and they kept advancing and advancing... BIG MAPS=GOOD TIMES

For those who have downloded it what is your opinion so far?
It's to hectic for me as there's so much going on.

Have you played BF installments before in the past? Or is this the first one you touch? There is a lot going on I agree, but just give it a little time and you'll learn how to deal with the different situations :) MW2 usually has a lot going on too if people spam air support, right? Same thing here, just needs a bit of a different tactic than MW2.

I had a crap load of fun last night taking the stationary guided missile launcher as a defender and blowing up tank after tank after tank and then soldiers one by one with the guided missles... :) I was laughing so hard after killing tank number 5 right in front of my nose before he even had a chance to kill me  I think it'll be different though once everyone gets a hang of the new controls, map and gameplay.

It got alot better when me,Dinsok and Kai got into a squad. Every round i kept checking those medals you get and we had the best squad achievment and also we were always in the top 4.
I also got quite a few kills with the tank buster and what i really liked about that was you can fire anywhere and then guide it to its target.

Edit. Never played any of the Battlefield games before.

Yeah, sorry by the way for not joining.... but my PS3 froze when I tried the join you that last time, when you were forming the squad with them... After that I decided to get some sleep.. hopefully we can team up over the weekend.

Tank buster is a lot of fun, I totally agree 👍

That was good fun in the tank  I liked the game alot.. But I really miss the smoothnes of cod, was really hoping for 60fps. But with such huge enviorment that might be impossible for ps3? IMO they could have downgraded graphic to make room for 60fps.

Yeah that was pure ownage there for a sec trying to take A on the second part of that map... Totaling the house and everything running torwards us was a rewarding experience

I agree about the smoothness... but I did notice it was practically lag free. Did you experience the same?? Apart from the sudden screen tear here and there I had no lag what-so-ever. I agree 60FPS would be nice but looking at the size of the maps I guess it was not possible... Hopefully Conquest mode is on the full version... 👍

I love this game. It's funny how some people rely on playing it like MW2 only to meet a very quick demise. To anyone new to the series your tactics must adjust a bit to avoid any heavy powered vehicles that just loiter and spam murder :)

I find it so much more entertaining than other FPS'. I've always like the dynamic of the BF series and BFBC2 definitley does not dissapoint...Day one purchase without a doubt.

MW2 and BFBC are both totally different. MW2 is more run and gun, BFBC has more tactics involved.

The full game will have conquest.

The last match Masi and I were in was the first time I went negative. Freaken' camping assholes I went 12/26

Lovin' the beta.

Still don't understand this whole ranking thing, 100million points to my next rank? I don't think so.

I tried to join you last night Blitz, but the game was full apparently. Played a couple of rounds, and I love it. 👍

This feels so much like BF2 with new maps and gametypes, and that's a good thing IMO. :)

I think they did that just for the beta, so we can't unlock more weapons or pass the 11 rank. I doubt it will be like that in the final version.

i think I am gonna buy the game. Will i start from scratch? I recieved a beta key from a friend. So if I pre-order the game now, I'll probably get another beta key?

You will start from scratch.

I made it to skill lever 194 yesterday. I can't wait to get my M1.

preordered the game :). I think this is the first game i've preordered in a while. Maybe I shoulda waited to see if alien vs predator was decent, so i dont end up spending $100 on games in a month -_-.

BTW, check out this website for extra info on maps/vehicals/guns etc. http://ultimateprestige.com/

Damnit 80% of the matches my friend and I are in we clear out the enemy until there are at maximum 3 people left on the other team. It gets really annoying.

You can download the AvP demo on Steam, I didn't like it. BC 2 has a much better multiplayer in my opinion.

I'm thinking of pre ordering it but the game is a bit heavy on my machine, though it's playable.

In the final game your stats will be resetted but you can keep the soldier's name if you like.

I hate to say it, but this demo is starting to bore me a little.:guilty:
The map is ok but nothing compared to Arica Harbour(Beta Map), which was epic for all forms of combat and felt a hell of a lot bigger than this. Im also struggling to find full matches with 'decent' players on both sides and that last more than 10 minutes. Ive only had a few good battles so far that have had awesome, long firefights like in the beta and even in 1943!. 👎
The stupid way that the game pulls you a metre forward towards someone when you knife them(or you get knifed) is getting really annoying too.

Been enjoying some awesome and funny matches with Cale and his friends recently though which has made up for the bad stuff.:)👍

I got so used to ACOG scopes that i now hate iron sights.

And i agree... the map sucks.
