One more question about opera paris. Is the paved area behind the rumble strip in the left hander before T1 on track or off track.?

3.4.3. in the rules says it´s ok.

What part of Eggman's post is not clear to you? ;)
 
1.4.15: GT Mode modifications: "Full Modifications" shall include all engine, transmission, suspension, chassis, or aerodynamic modifications available for the car, except NOS / nitrous oxide systems. NOS/NOX is prohibited and may not be installed on any GT Mode car. If a wing is installed it must be wing selection #1, at the farthest left of the selection screen.



NOTE: All GT mode cars shall have nitrous oxide system installed, but use during races is prohibited. This is for verification purposes and GT cars without NOX will be disqualified.

As far as im aware Nitrous doesnt need to be installed to be verified anymore as all sim cars use more than +20% power thus make it impossible to replicate in Arcade mode.

That's why there are FINAL versions of both the rules and the Round descriptions - because changes have taken place. Please read and refer to the FINAL versions for how the races should be run, not the original versions.

On the subject of the striped paving, I'm of the opinion that it is NOT track - it's painted out to clearly define where the track IS. But if the majority of managers agree that everything should be open on City Courses, then I will remove the "Except as defined above" wording.
 
Post them to GTChallenge's GT Replay Theatre first. The gmail address is just for backup.

I'm sorry, I misunderstood your original question, my fault.

At deadline time, the time/driver/team information is to be emailed to bc5admin@gmail.com. That's a private account noone has access to, so there is no chance that anyone's time submittals may be interfered with.

The bc5replays@gmail.com account is open (login details published above) so that replay verifiers can get replays to download and check. However, I believe that the GTRT system will work better so I'd rather have that be the primary method, with the gmail account used only as a backup.

With the deadline looming, we need to know if this is legal or not, if my vote counts i say on street courses anything within the walls are counted as track.

Correct. I added the "regardless of painted markings" line in order to allow all driveable surfaces as legal for city tracks.

Hi guys
I haven't read the whole thread, so I don't know if this question has already been answered...anyway, I've a doubt about the track definition.
I guess the answer to this three examples will make it clear...

On Midfield Raceway, in the right-handed that passes throw the tunnel, is it considered track until touching the wall (while entering and exiting the corner)?Again on Midfield, at the exit of the left hairpin, can the paved zone that there's between the rumble strip and the wall be used?
Another question, on Opera Paris, are the yellow diagonal stripes that there are along the track considered track?
I haven't quite understood the explanation about diagonal stripes/solid lines, and track border lines...

Opera paris, all track inside the walls ar OK.

On them midfield coners you have to stay inside the rumbles and white line, 2 tires must be touching either a rumble or a white line. You cant cross it.
 
Thanks Small_Fryz...I was hoping all the concrete borders could be used on Midfield...now I have to take care to stay with two wheels on the rumble/white line.

My question concerns the long race with the BMW 320i in Monaco.

I think this is a front fender sideswipe with a glancing blow as described in 3.6.1 and not considered as major. The speed falls about 2 kph. This type of contact with the curbstones is therefore considered as minor. So this inadvertent touch shall be penalized as described in 3.9.

But i want to get sure, that this is not a ground for disqualification.

Therefore i request for confirmation from Duke or one another from the admin team.

Yes, I've viewed your replay, and that is a minor touch. It will be acceptable (with penalty as described above if it is one of a series of similar touches). But it's definitely not a DQ.
