I started liking cars a heck of a lot more after playing GT1 and GT2 for the first time.

I have been a car fan since my conception. Which incidentlly was in the back seat of a 66 Chevy Malibu.:D

My car craze was what got me into GT, i would never EVER have been able to sit around for the preverbial racing CRAP if I didn't love cars/motorsports :D

After for me, was always into cars, just not in a big way
When the GT series came out I started realising that there was a lot more out there, and a lot of the cars I see and recognise now have come from playing GT

I wasn't interested in cars before I played GT1. GT1 was really addicting and it got me more interested about cars. Now that I am hooked to the GT games, I also love cars. GT1 made me realize how complicated and customizable cars are.

I was into cars a long time ago, but then lost interest, mostly because I didn't have one for four years. GT got me back into it. Now I'm somewhat of a car nut, as much as I can afford to be.

Always been a car nut. I remember when I was five-ish I would always crane my neck to look at a passing police car just so that I could see its light patterns. Yup, always a car nut.

my grandpa did the circle track thing. so i've been around racing my entire life. my dad and his brother did autocross back when they were teenagers...so when i got my first car i started autocrossing (300ZX) and over the years i've learned more and more about them. and the more i learn the more i like them :D

I got interested in cars through Hot-wheels, of all things.:)

It also helped that i grew up in Tucson, AZ and when we'd go up to Phoenix I'd look at all of the pretty cars.

Guys, I have a collection of Hot Rod, Car Craft, Motor Trend, Automobile, Road and Track, and Car and Driver Magazines that date as far back as 1979.
It would be safe to say that I have loved cars for a VERY long time.

Except possibly the 65% of it that's water. Or any of the air.

Or anywhere that has no roads - or in the case of 4x4s anywhere too far from a petrol pump.

Or most of Antarctica. And the greater part of the Arctic Circle too. Or too high above sea level (every 1000ft increase reduces engine power by 10%...).

Or, if you're a woman, anywhere in Dubai.

But other than that... :D

Gah, shaddup party pooper! :p

I got into them around the time I got my PS2...well, sort of "got back" into them...I was always into them when I was about 6.

After--
But one thing I've noticed is that I get freakydeaky when any supremo car game comes out (and whenever new issues of my car mags are at the grocery store)

I've allways loved cars, but here in the UK if you asked most people before GT1 what a skyline was they would say a chocolate bar or something. Japanese performance cars have become massively popular since then I am convinced it is entirely down to the GT games series.

I have loved cars before the gt series. I think the reason most of us got into th gt series is to drive cars that we will probally never drive or much less touch.:O
