The design is inspiring. Some truly marvelous designs can come from the Bertone GT Vision car. I'm not going to say what, but the car certainly has my wheels turning about vehicle design and styling.

Wouldn't need a whole game for that. Just do what they did for the moon rover in GT6. Having a cyberpunk-themed set of races and time trials as a separate bonus thing could be cool.

It's a shame Bertone went under before the car could make it. Along with the 2X and the Tomahawk, this could have been one of the most outlandish VGTs of them all.

And thinking about it, races with the 2X and this thing would be kinda cool. It'd feel like an old racing game. The Chaparral would feel less lonely.

Actually, Bertone announced their return last year, though it looks like they still try to find some partnership with automotive manufacturer sort of thing :

Actually, there were 2 manufacturers who pulled out of the VGT program: Bertone and Alfa Romeo.

But anyway, it's great to see the original designer still has the project in his mind. The VGT program is dragging on longer and longer, so it's not impossible to think that in the future if conditions change we *might* still see it in the game. Be it GT7/8 or even further than that.

I prefer the original design though. Much more feasible as a car:
