Best 4 door sedans?

The Holden Commodore that features the game is a newer model and has a different platform than the older Lotus Carlton. Still a great drive and also one hell of a sleeper (due to V8 goodness).

The Holden Monaro isnt 4-door but is very similar too (and probably a little better).

Is anyone here also aware that the new "all-american" Chevrolet Camaro is actually a Holden Commodore with different skin? Even manufactured here in Aus too...

We Aussies sure know how to make a performance sedan - the Falcon XR8 being another example :p

Germans are pretty good as well.

M5, M3, RS4, RS6, E63 AMG, E55 AMG, C63 AMG to name a few.

The Falcon is great though. 👍

You are right of course, with the Commodore in the game being a good 12 years younger than the Carlton.

I see that GM also shipped Commodore's to North America as the Pontiac G8.

Don't forget the Opels/Vauxhalls :sly: little lower on PP so more room to modify them under a 485 PP limit.

I'm gonna edit the list a bit, so it includes the Lotus Carlton and shows how you can acquire the car.

EDIT: List has been improved!

I built up an EVO X but I get this weird wobbling on my G27 wheel when I go in a straight line. As soon as I start to turn, it stops. I thought it may be the tune but I drove a stock Evo X in one of the license tests and it does the same thing. I can't drive it since I scrub off a few mph down the straights because of the car swerving back and forth. Other than that, the car is great once the suspension is tuned.

I am after balanced handling, but the track also has a number of high speed sections. And I am a subaru dude too! I drive a "boring" impreza in real life, so you'd think the choice would be obvious. Guess I wanted to give the other cars a chance

The Camaro has quite a few differences from the Commodore other than the "skin". lol

My Pontiac G8 GT is, however, 100% Commodore under the skin. ;) I have wanted an Aussie V8 sedan for nearly 30 years ever since I saw a writeup of the 351-powered Falcon back in '83. Finally got one (although not a falcon, and the engine is a bit bigger than a 351). It's hands-down the best car I've ever owned.

And I do recommend the Commodore in the game. A must-have for any garage.

I'm collecting all the FR sedans in the game. I believe I have them all now that I finally scored the X540. And a smattering of FF and AWD sedans as well.

Try reading the OPs original post...and the rest of the thread:dunce:

Since the op doesn't say when the event is (or was), or if it's open to the public, or is invite only the question is quite reasonable. Your answer was not only unhelpful, it was snide and condescending for absolutely no reason.

haha, you told him!

on topic, I think the tuner 4 doors are pretty good such as Tom's X540 Chaser and Nismo R-32 S-tune.

BMW M5 '05 is also a good car.

Lotus Carlton, BMW 330i, and the 2 Holdens. Never, ever, count out Holden, those cars are pretty quick.

I don't like to race 4WDs all the time, so I'd go for BMW 330i. Tunes and handles reasonably well.

Or something completely different... Nissan Primera 2.0Te. Tuned to the max at 485pp and having the right spring set-up you'd be suprised. A nifty FF four door.

Honda accord euro r. I picked this one on a sedan only race and i won almost every race. The holden commodor is really bad trust me. The altezza is also great and the alfa 156 is not bad
