What is it about internet forums? Whenever someone asks a question why do there have to be egotistical cretins who insist on telling the world that it's the wrong question rather than contributing anything helpful?

It seems like you'd be better suited to reading posts rather than replying to them if you're incapable of answering the questions that are actually asked.

or you could look at it from the point of view of advice on how to be faster AND enjoy the game more. Most people become pretty frustrated when they jump into the game and want a fast car immediately b/c it's pretty difficult to handle.💡

Even Super GT are too wild for him. Really. Anything RWD is out of contest.

Escudo, that thing must handle like a load truck if it is anything like it was on GT4.

I think it handles much better in GT5.
The Escudo is my favorite 4WD car.

Wait, if your friend has managed to get the X1, why can't he manage surviving 8 minutes on the Nordschliefe without crashing? I personally think that the X1 challenges are a lot harder than driving on the Nurburgring.

BSpec Level 35 gift. So far he only bronzed Monza in the Challenges.

I'm on the side of the folks here who've said the dude needs to take it a bit easier and learn to drive. No one has said it condescendingly, which it often the case. They've just stated something pretty clearly and politely.

They're changing the question because the original question is invalid. What he's looking for is not available because it doesn't really exist.

This is ostensibly a simulation. A game, yes. But a simulation game, as opposed to a "game" game as in the case of Need For Speed and the like.

There is no panacea race car for someone who simply isn't a very good driver and there's no substitute for driving skill & track knowledge, especially on the Nordschleife. If he wants a race car that he can simply stand on the pedal and zoom around the 'Ring without care, there isn't one. Other than maybe a Lupo Cup Car on Racing Softs.

Anyone who's NOT willing to put some time & effort into learning how to at least somewhat reasonably & realistically control a race car will not likely find enjoyment in the Gran Turismo series for long. There's nothing wrong with being that type of player, but those people would be well served to realize that fact and look elsewhere for their racing simulation thrills.

It's a 4 hour race, he might not know how to drive very well at the start, but after about 45-60 minutes of spinning 'round Nurburg, he'll probably figure it out!

If I send the car via ticket will the tuned settings remain?

Yes.

EDIT: I suggest the IS F RM, it's not AWD but man if that ride isn't butter around the Nordschliefe... Plus, if you mod it to the max, you get a very light, quick, and well-balanced car that runs around 740bHP. It sticks to the 'Ring even with driving aids off.

Would definately suggest the ZZII light weight, lots of downforces, AWD, mid-engine, not to expensive, and easy to drive. Just have to watch your breaking points, turn in slow come out fast, and thats really all there is to it. :D

The Cuscu Dunlop Subaru Impreza is probably the fastest AWD car, when tuned to the max. It is, at least, the fastest car I know of.
If that doesn't cut it, there's hardly an AWD car that could . The Mine's BNR34 might be able to go faster, I've never maxed it, or maybe the HKS CT230R, but I guess that's about it...

If none of those will do, I'd recommend learning to handle rear wheel driven cars. The GT500 cars are really easy to drive and control, unless he insists on mashing the throttle to the max as soon as he hits the apex of a corner

The ZZII will eat anything aside from the ESCUDO and Veyron.

Tommykaira ZZ-II, man. Can thrash anything, surprisingly.

And here, I'll post a picture to draw more attention to this post :sly:

That's from GT4, mind you, taken by a GTPlanet member who I can't seem to recall the name of.

Not many people will buy it as it isn't really necessary for anything specific, but I can confirm the HKS Evo (CT230) is superb. I even won the dream car championship with it as I was struggling in the rain races initially. (racing against RM ford GT's and the Jaguar LM car)

It has 617 hp max and only five gears, but it's ability in slow corners especially is excellent. You may just want to adjust the camber & toe angle a bit to sharpen the turn-in (if you really are going in way too fast, it's still going to edge towards understeer), but you can drive it in all weather with no traction control and still hammer the throttle midway through a corner. It's pretty much idiot-proof and should eat that S2000 for breakfast.

Bought that already, the Impreza Touring trashed it. His name is Alexwrc. Coincidentally he is a friend of mine.

Gonna try that. But I doubt it come close to the Impreza Super Touring.

FTO Super touringcar, drives ok without aids on, i use it online:sly:

This is quite the same as Impreza Super Touring, right? I'm not cycling the UCD two more hours for it to show up lol

not many 4wd race cars. Tell your buddy to gold the special events and licences. he'll be a kick ass driver after.

Actually he has golded many events. 31 golds in the licenses plus 20ish silvers. And a couple of golds and everything else silver in the AMG Academy.

So that tells those things are useless, since he hasn't learn **** lol

On any track with minimal straits. I would certainly not rule out the FTO Super Touring. Although it is down a bit on HP in this edition of GT it still seems to be the sleeper it's always been. Haven't had much of a chance to compete with it so I could be wrong. But on the previous installments of GT it was an absolute beast on short tracks. Ate the GTR's lunch repeatedly on small tracks.

among awd cars, yes the zzii is probably the best!

i could never find it in the ucd, had to trade for it. from all the duping... the cars in the ucd are more rare then an x1 or fgt lol

There are two 4wd GT-R race cars in the game i think: Falken r34 and that old blue r32 (from JGTC or it's predecessor serries). Or would the r35 be the only option here?

The Falken was made to race the Nürburgring so it might fit quite well...
