What cars do you guys think accelerate out of the corners the fastest for 550-600pp?
^yeah with a little more power and a little more final rear gear I might be able to get em.
Firehound427I'd imagine something AWD would get the best grip out of corners. Example? I once ran a bit of Cote d'Azur with a Corvette Z06, and then with an R8 V10, and the Audi turned out to be three seconds quicker. I found that I could nail the power coming out of a corner where the RWD Chevy would just wheelspin. So the R8 seems like a good choice, and it'll only take a few mods to get it to 550PP. The GT-R is another good choice, with good all-round abilities and monstrous acceleration.

JohnnypensoR8 vs. Z06 the R8 wins hands down because it has far more lateral grip and rotates much better than a Z06, 4wd has nothing to do with it. It's just a far better car.
In online racing most rooms are on RS tires so 4wd has little effect. If we're talking about street tires like SH or CS, 4wd can produce a significant advantage on some courses, but a skilled driver will still be very close or better in a top RWD car. Many 4wd have disadvantageous torque curves that get over rated by the PP system costing them valuable HP in the process.
Then again if the Enzo's are upgraded I'm boned![]()

The R8 is the better car, possibly since the ZR6 has a pushrod V8 that makes it inferior to the R8.

....wall of text with real life information....
It's inferior because PD programmed it that way. In real life the cars are almost identical on the track and the Vette's acceleration and 1/4 mile speeds are actually better.
All wonderful information, but completely irrelevant as far as GT5 goes. On GT5 they should be very, very close together but they are not because PD modelled it that way for whatever reason.
Yeah but by what possible means can any of that be attributed to a the motor being a pushrod V8, making the corvette inferior? That's what set me off..
Do you believe: Stock Audi vs. stock Z06 could win around a high speed track such as High Speed Ring or Monza (no chicane)?
That test was done at Streets of Willow Road Course which only has 2 low speed corners and one "sweeping" bend where the Audi has a handling advantage, The other two miles is essentially half an oval track and two high speed corners.
Lol. I don't understand why you sound like you're becoming pissed. But the Corvette still has the pushrod V8 engine, which is somewhat outdated already, IMHO.
Also, it seems I have heard some recalls about the Corvette before but that's a different story. Looks like the thread is going OT. Now BTT.
JohnnypensoYou're assuming too much, it's the internet man, I don't get mad at letters on a screenPushrod, hybrid, diesel, electric, magical fairy dust, it doesn't matter. All that matters is the torque and power curve and putting power to the ground.

C. Inferior Build quality of the rest of the car? I will not say inferior, but I will say cheaper.. Yes the Audi will be considerably nicer inside and out with better materials, I am sure if you placed them both in a junk yard and just let them sit there, over time the Corvette would wither away from the elements long before the Audi!
...Corvette is a much better car with only the interior suffering from build quality issues.
