back on topic, while doing the AL Altezza Race @ SSR11 the AI hit me while I was turning in the big turning tunnel and spun me around around I never recovered.... :ouch:

We all know that the AI NEVER deviates from the racing line.
Hey... "Don't deviate from the racing line is in my bedtime prayer dammit" :grumpy:

1) the Altezza race is annoying
2) I don't like Special Stage route 11
3) the AI on all-the-same-car races are very crazily obsessed on following the racing line. If you're in their way,

<<OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!!!!!!!!!>>

I had a worst=>best experience before~

On Cote(enduro) a GT-One wanted to pit and started pushing me towards the pits since I was to the right of him...... I got pissed and pushed back at him until I became free.... The dumb moron wouldn't go reverse and go into the pits or go on the next lap and just stayed there pushing the wall... I lapped hin around 30 times by the end of the race....

BTW, it happen once before that too!! A Shelby Cobra got stuck on one of the races and I had to help it by banging the car pretty hard from the behind after I lapped him twice..... I didn't hit him before so I'm guessing another car hit him or something.....

And sheeesh.... AI goes nuts on Laguna Seca!! spinning out all over the place!!

This may just be a shock you all, but this was just one month ago. I was checking for what championship that I didn't beat and I found that I didn't complete "Like The Wind". In my mind, I'm like, "What in the..." and I just jumped in my Supreme Hybrid RX-7, (With 2,787 hp. I know, that's cheating....But it was a gift. Gotta utilize gifts, right?) and tested it out. Now when I seen that it was 20 laps, I could do nothing but race through it and stifle my tongue. Now here's the funny part. Somewhere around lap 12-15, the Team Oreca Viper made a dumb decision and try to pit in from the outer lane. The Viper, as we all know who reads this, at 210 mph, turns like a chariot with no horses. So as massive as the miniture aircraft carrier is, SOMEHOW (Yes, I did say somehow) managed to spin out and crash in front of Pit Lane. All of the other cars, who had to pit in at exactly lap 16, rammed the Viper. But to no avail as they could barely inch the Viper over. Even a Supra at peak speed (181 mph) couldn't inch it over. Now at lap 18 I finally realized that was travelling at 389 mph, and I hadn't seen a car in 3 laps. What gives? So I downshift through the last turn before the starting point and stop completely. I couldn't believe my eyes. A Supra, Arta NSX, Toyota GT-One, Zonda C-12, and that Calsonic Skyline, piled in front of Pit lane along with the fatalitized Viper, blocking the way. My mom seen it and started cracking up immediately. Her exact words just happened to be, "Am I seeing this correctly? One car is blocking the others? I never thought that a Viper could block the pit lane, just the thought of it was just.......monotonous."

Yeah the oreca viper's seem to be the dummest. In the Laguna Seca enduro I was racing with a stock Castrol Tom's supra and was a lap behind the viper and suddenly on lap 74 he just crashed into the wall before the pit lane.He stayed there a couple of laps so I could set him on 3 laps, then he went into the pits. But at the end of the race the corvette crashed also into that same wall.Hopefully they will something about that in GT4.

So as well as your Hybrid RX-7 there were 7 cars in this race?!!!!!
Have to call BS On that one!!!

LOL, you make it sound like its a big deal. They're just playing a round of 'Saturday Night Short Track' ;)

Someone can't count...

1. Supra
2. Arta NSX
3. GT-one
4. Zonda
5. Calsonic
6. Rx-7.

That's six i make, not eight.

No one mentioned 8.
I said as well as the 6 cars he mentioned blocked in the pitlane (you left out the Viper doing the blocking, from your list of 6!!!) and his Hybrid RX-7 makes 7 (right?)
Trust me, I can count!

Smallhorses count is correct at seven.
But Shinning Mirages mum saw it so it must be true.
Maybe he Gamesharked in the 7th car into the race? :guilty:

Oh yeah, my mistake. Gamesharking seven cars? Is that possible? If so, i'd buy another copy of Gt3 (a US one) and get a Gameshark just for that!!!

My best AI moment was in GT2 on the Apricot Hill Endurance race. A DB7 spun into the grass on the 3rd turn and couldn't get out! I bashed into him every lap, but it took like ten laps to get him out! Priceless..........

My apologies after you all exceedingly shot at me verbally with the last couple of posts. The Calsonic Skyline wasn't in that hilarious session, but in the Leguna Seca session for 3 laps doing continuous burnouts and donuts around the pit lane area. I'm sorry for the misconception, and I'll tell you this much, there is a gameshark code to put in a seventh car, but you have to manuall yput in that code along with the car of your choice. It's one of those ass-long races that I couldn't remember, and I seen that It wasn't going anywhere. And at the time that I was writing the post for the Test course and the dumb assed Team Oreca Viper, I had the Calsonic on my mind.

Now guys, I have a legit question. I know I'm not bugging out, but am I the only one that can honestly say that the Toyota GT-One is considerably dumb too? I only ask that because I'm not sure if it's only on my game, but whenever I have to do the Tokyo reversed, (with Tire damage) The GT-One somehow completely drifts around the corner without any problems. Like a ridge racer car. I just want to be sure that I'm not the only one.

Thanks for the angry criticism. :)

i believe AI in GT3 actually stood for "Aspiring to have Intelligence" ;)

TS020, i had the same thing on Cote happen to me too... i bumped with an AI car and he got pinned to the wall trying to go to the pits.

Things to be Learned....

--The wierdest looking car is the one always to be feared. Never the driver.

--Drafting McLarens cost lives. Buckle up.

--You should really buy that custom diaper if you want that Ferrari F50 to get modded out, like you told your g/f as you passed the dealership in your Grey Pinto.

--And never try to counterattack the speed and agility of a Porsche with an NSX. You'll always lose.

-wtf? can we add "-English" and "-sense making skills" to this list?

Regarding the actual topic of the thread,

Sometimes I'm glad that the AI sticks to the line programmed, because on the super speedway endurance, an RGT made a pit a stop on lap 98 and was coming up so fast that if it had moved over and passed me on the left it would have won, but instead it stayed behind me, tapped me from behind and pushed me over the finish line to win! from then on I love the AI

only thing is its not helping to prepare you all for what online racing in gt4 will be like :) real life people are much more risky and hungrier. I suggest you all do some live for speed racing to get my point.

Victor Vance
Some are like Shingo (or for NASCAR fans, Earnhardt) who will win at all costs...

Dale Earnhardt is straight gangsta. He wasnt like shingo... he just pretended that other people werent on the road sometimes. :)

Oo, 1 other thing u all will need to remember for races online. 2nd place is a hell of a lot better than last so choose ur battles wisely :)

Now you know what, I don't know much about NASCAR, but I do know about Earnhardt owning people, and then driving like he forgot who you were. That's cool. If he were to lap ya, he'd ALWAYS find a way to nearly pin you to the wall coming out of a turn. That's dirty......I like it.

Oh and Vance, I don't know if it actually matters, but I actually liked your old avatar better. But a side pic of Jeff Gordon dusting someone is a decent second. :)
