exactly my thoughts. In my eyes, Dredg is by far the best album of the year.. its sad it didnt make it to the end.

My choices never win in these damn popular music polls. The Mars Volta, Beck, Gorillaz, Sigur Ros, and Thrice all had much better albums this year...oh well.

I can't believe it came down to these two. I expected Avenged Sevenfold to get a bit further, City of Evil is great.

I like SOAD but not as much as some of the others, I think Coldplay are way over rated though so SOAD get my vote.
