Not sure if it is the tires or the car setup, I was having a bit of hard time trying to get the car to rotate. Brake too hard, overloaded the front tires and the front slides. Brake not enough, can't load up the front tires enough to get the car to turn. I can sorta manage the power oversteer on exit, but it does make it hard to get on the gas with confident.

Have you watched one of the professionals Youtube guides to get a better idea of what to do? There's plenty of options. Tidgney, Thekie25, SuperGT, MetalGear, Mistah_MCA, etc. They might be able to help you with your issue.

I would think it's harder to get the car to rotate using a wheel, I can't play gt7 if I don't have a controller available.

Mixed feelings on this one. Love the car itself and it works well at Streets of Willow but the cones and start run up shenaningans ruin it so much. Not being able to properly restart and an attempt to finish a lap meaning you basically do a 90 sec “restart” and the utterly stupid clean up of a few cones at the start of the session. Jesus. Unfortunate, as it was enjoyable apart from those things.

Anyway, L-shooter will probably take this one from Tapai.

That's so weird how getting a invalidated lap affects your next one, it should reset after crossing the finish line unless it's a glitch/bug. Strong lap there mate, I wouldn't worry about hitting the cones. Nobody's perfect at racing. We all have our talents and special abilities.

An invalidated lap does not invalidate the next one, only if it's after the restart spot. Uh, the cones were hard coded to immediately invalidate your lap in this TT so yes, that was in fact an issue and one needed to get rid of or avoid them.

Kind of strange car this one. Have they mounted the engine upside down to get this delivery curve???

The lap live or die at the final section dice roll. It's a bit frustrating put togheter a good lap only to throw it away at the very last, or to have a decent lap that becomes a PB just because or the above mentioned roll.

My PB stays a bit in the middle, it's not my very best before the chicane, but at least it was not been throw away there

Ah... he must be talking about the 400PP challenges with the Silvias among the competitors...
they are almost unbeatable if you stick to 400PP...
one of the tricks is to use ‘nitro’ or swap your car's engine...

I said I didn't really believe in it, that I wondered how I could improve by 4/10ths...🤔
and guess what? I did better by almost 7/10ths... 🤣🤣

I'm laughing my head off... and surprised: for once, NurGP has been kind to me...

I already did a first run before dinner, then, after filling up on rosé, I tried my luck again...🤣🤣
I found a pacemaker in 800th place that suited me perfectly...

Already better at 5.244, then a 5.091... Then later, a 4.921 and, without knowing how, a 4.588....😎🥳🥳😂

I hope it will last another 7 days so I can focus on Thursday's new one.....

If Willows' doesn't evaporate overnight, it will be my 52nd and 52nd gold medals....

Put about 140km into this one, only really did the one session of cone manipulation as I just couldn't really be bothered having to do all that every time you restart the session.

On top of that, had a lack of sleep the night before so was feeling pretty exhausted by the time I was attempting this. Pretty happy with the time and ranking considering the limited time spent, but I suspect there will be lower participation (or lots of people not doing cone manipulation) for this trial, hence the higher ranking.

Had an optimum of 25.4XX but lost it at the second last corner to track limits, in the subsequent laps I couldn't find the rhythm to recreate that lap (probably due to lack of concentration from being so tired) so called it at a 25.673. Definitely plenty of time in the first sector to be found

Looking forward to giving the RE Amemiya a go with its strange power curve and a track that isn't Willow Springs.

Morning folks,

I wasn't planning on hitting Willow again IF top 100 would stick but was awake early, think i was placed 79 this morning so still going strong.

That said, coffey and focus!

Couldn't realy get below a high .6 because me and my cone where friends...., but me and T1 were def. not..
Lap after lap i lost time, to much squeeking.... left tire in the sand shenanigens.... but after a fair amount of restarts i got into it a bit better, I had 2 red .480 laps due to hitting the cones on the straight before the finish but eventually ended up with a .561 which got me 11 places worldwide 😟 😂

Very glad it all did stick on the first page, me and my cone made it!
It's frustrated knowing it could be a lot better by removing the cone and cut a lot more and that the majority on the board above me have no lovely feelings for cones.

So definately a little side taste on this one, could have been a very great challenge but now we had a obligated validated false start thing to get a descent time in and glitched conanigans...

Well i'll leave it at that 😂😂

@crome sorry ....not sorry buddy 😂

Me and ma cone 😂😂

Last turn is so satisfying!, getting that early rotation by oversteer than lift a bit to make the corner and pray for cones! 😂

I was thinking about it earlier while doing the dishes... 😂 😂

I just hope it will be counterclockwise... the other way around, the chicane towards the end is too unpredictable...

btw, a bit off topic, but wonder if any of you legends from this TT thread is in northern Italy (near Como) since I am away from cold Sweden for some time and enjoying Italy, wants to meet IRL :) just a thought... :) send me PM in that case
