Best Album of 2005 poll!Music

[ROAD_DOGG33J]

I noticed that this morning too. Either a bunch of Coldplay fans came out of the woodwork, or something is going on.

Is there any way to check if the votes are legit?

This should have been a public poll.

[ExigeEvan]

Me thinks someone has a few too many accounts goin. I think a moderator can check it.

I can't believe all the people voting for Hypnotize... Mesmerize was worlds better, but hey, it's al opinion.

I thought that too, but I forgot Mezmerize was a 2005 album - Hyponitze was still fresh in my mind becuase it hadn't been out long, and it felt like Mezmerize had been out for ages. I would've nominated it, but I didn't think of it.

My vote goes to Foo Fighters "In Your Honour"... Just ahead of SOAD, Audioslave and Coldplay.

2005 has been a great year for rock music.. Roll on 2006.

Coldplay has my vote here. Speed Of Sound and Clocks are just too good for words. However i also like Athlete - Wires, brilliant track, thats why i bought their album lol. 👍

You should judge this album by an old song . Clocks wasn't on that album, it was on A Rush of Blood to the Head... That's a no no.

[Sphinx]

Looks like Coldplay is kicking arse

lolol. Should have been more specific.👍

Clocks is a classic so i had to mention it

X and Y has so many good consistently good tunes. In particular Talk, Speed Of Sound, X&Y and Square one 👍.

That's what I like to see 👍
I guess a lot of the fans prefer to stay in the closet

My vote : System Of A Down - Hypnotize

Or a few people making a bunch of accounts voting a bunch.

[Kelly]

Well that's just sad if anyone done that!
Could it not be that 14 people actually like them ??

[X5.]

It could be either of the two options but imo you would really have to be sad to create 14 accounts just to vote 👎

Well, that album went from like 3 votes to 12 or 13 in one night... And none of em posted here! Isn't that a little suspicious?

Didn't see that, but now that you have mentioned it, that does seem very perculiar. Was there anything Coldplay related on TV that night?

It's been checked and it's legitimate. Sadly.

[Silverzone]

Poll closes tomorow people. Finish up all your votes. at the next poll it will be slimmed down to 10, and from there to 2.

Damn, well thanks for looking into it.

Hopefully The Mars Volta make the cut.

I thought it was 5, then 2... 5 would make more sense, then as of now, you'd need 4 votes or more to advance. If it was 10, it would be 3, and there'd be ties, and all that, and the next round votes wouldn't be much different that the first round votes, because there weren't many other votes not voting for the current top 10, so the results would be almost the same.

it probably was. I'll make the poll when I get home today. I'm at work right now, so I dont have the time to go throught the results.
