Actually, you do have a point considering that you can get it from the Lv 17 ticket. But I bet you a million pounds the OP hasn't done the Historic Racing Car Cup you need to get it. Also there's a high chance you can get other cars too, you know?

From what I recall the Lexus was built to enter the DTM, I could be wrong and have been known to be in the past. That's why I used the IS-F the first time then did it with the Merc and then the Alfa

I used the Opel Astra DTM car, but any eligible car should be able to win with a drunken one handed driver at the wheel. It's one of the easiest series in the game for some reason. I thought maybe the older Mercedes might be slow, as it is with the AI driving, but I've been told it's not. Probably just has a stupid gear ratio in it or something.

I used the Audi Abt Audi TT-R Touring Car '02 with a turbo upgrade and i destroyed the competiton with it. The IS-F Racing Concept is cheaper though and it's a premium so it's always at the dealership while the Audi TT-R is at the UCD so it isn't available all of time. I would just buy the IS-F Racing Concept if i were you since the German Touring Car Championship is one of the easiest events in the game surprisingly.

O, crap, I forgot about that. I was thinking about a different series... Its so stupid you can't use the AMG.

I used the Lexus IF IS F Racing Concept '08. Didn't upgrade it at all, and it worked just fine for the event you want to race. Bad thing is it cost 750k.

If you read the description of the car, it actually says that people though it was but Lexus had not infact made the car for that purpose im not 100% but I am pretty sure it says something along those lines

I'm a big fan of the Audi A4 but I don't think the choice of car really matters, it's more a matter of how well you drive it.

All the cars eligible for the DTM events have a really nice handling and will destroy the comp even in their stock form.

But the best one has to be the CLK.

I won this event with the Mercedes Benz, I don't remember the model, quite easily. I think I put the extra tune or 2 one it but that's it.

Edit: CLK is the model.

I actually own all the dtm cars in the game and have run all for comparison. R8 lms best by far but too easy to win with. Truth is all the rest are basically the same stock (each strong in their own way. Alpha is a sweet sounding car, with some talent you should be able to win. The only car you will struggle to win with is the Benz 190 touring. Just buy one, if you dont like it, buy another!! Thats the fun in the game for me

I used the Abt Audi TT-R straight from the UCD. Oil light was on the entire time and I still won. I don't think I even upgraded the tires. The car handles pretty decent out of the box.
