It's set for your generic road course. With the top speed set for 183Mph, you should be getting just to the red line at the end of the straight away, and allows for good acceleration through the twisties. Setting the top end higher will noticably detract from that, and thus raise your lap times. If you run a track like Fuji or Sarthe you would be better to bump it up to 220 or so to compensate for the extra long straight stretches.

Then if i bump it up to 220, what do i set the gear ratio!

IMO the Dodge Viper GTS-R Team ORECA Race Car is the best. I just bought it today (It really damage my 5,000,000 cred budget) and I beat the Panoz and the 2J on Laguna Seca untuned whilst I beat them on Indy with only the turbo changed (High RPM)! If you want a street legal one, it has to be the Nissan GTR.

Best car for drag? Veyron. If there is enough road to get it up to a high speed. Otherwise a lighter car might get it.

For the Extreme Series overall? Not really easy to pick. I'd say use the BMW M3 GTR Race Car for the German events, and the Ford GT LM Race Car Spec II for the American. Use the FGT for the rest (Apart from NASCAR. I can't do NASCAR...).

For curvy tracks it'd have to be the M3 GTR Race Car or Viper GTS-R Race Car. They handle well if they are ridgid and tuned well (I can help with that if you want). The FGT works well, if you can handle it. But it is a bit wide. And expensive.

Looks - Matter of opinion. The Mclaren MP4-12C looks cool in silver.

I don't really like old muscle cars. Sorry.

That's what I think. :)

Does anybody have any of those for trade? ^^^ Cuz i can only buy the Mazda (5 mill? good lord). If u know how to get em (If i have to do a race) or if u have em for trade, let me know plz!

5. Muscle - 1970 Ford Mustang Trans Cammer
(from NCD under "Grand Touring Garage")

The transcammer is awesome and fun and totally wicked, sadly it's not a muscle car, It's a drag car. I didn't realise either till I nearly got kicked out of a room for arguing the point :(

The trans cammer is 100% a muscle car. Who dosnt know that cuz if u got kicked they are stupid! A 1970's Ford car with power and good looks, it is too a muscle car! Thats like saying a Cuda isnt a muscle car cuz its good for drag.

Depends on the track. A track with tighter corners could use a 4.2, whereas you could do a 3.6 on Fuji, which is what I'd suggest for a 220 if thats what youre set on using

4.200?

You actually answered my question! :) thanks.

I'm glad I could help and if you have the money and want a high powered racing machine then go with the Mazda 787B man.

I just did some googling on this one, the majority of opinion of the real cars is that they are muscle cars - people also call them street tuned.

I've just looked up the actual description on GT5 and it is described as a "hot rod built into a 1970 body ... but on the inside it is a total racing car"

Is a hot rod the same as a drag car....? If not then I've got a rematch to play :)

I've had the Bugatti and I own the BMW M3 GTR but it's not the race car version. If you have a question about a certain car just ask me.

I am no expert on Drags (i.e. Never done one!) but can point you in the right direction with the other categories... 👍

1. Extreme Events: Pagani Zonda R '09 (B-Spec Prize Car)
2. Curvy Tracks (Nurburgring): Ferrari 458 Italia '09 / Lotus Evora '09
3. Drag: Bugatti Veyron 16.4 '09 (Guess...) (OCD Available)
4. Looks: Pagani Zonda R '09 / Peugeot 908 HDi FAP '10 (Both Liveires!)
5. Muscle: Chevrolet Camaro SS RM '10
6. Best OVERALL Car: Pagani Zonda R '09

Cheers, Xerx :)

Well whatever you don't want in the NCD you'll either have to find in the UCD or the OCD but as of right now the only way you'll find the Viper & the BMW your looking for is the used car dealership. The Ford GT LM Test Car is in the NCD for around 3.5 million I believe but i'd go with the 787B if your going to spend that much green on a car.
