Hey all, im fairly new to gt5 online and offline i only played when PSN was down. I can get money easily so its not the issue (I have 2.3 mill atm but i just bought an Enzo for drag). I have standard cars and premium. I can get cars from friends so i can work out a trade too, BUT! my main QUESTION was what are the best cars for:

1. Extreme Events
2. Curvy Tracks (Nurburgring)
3. Drag
4. Looks
5. Muscle
6. Best OVERALL Car

And if u have a opinion, would u be willing to trade or tell me where to get them? THANKS :)

(BTW i have 20 cars such as the zr1, enzo, gt-r, 458 italia, and others! :))

Camaro SS RM ´10 (drift and race)
Fiat 500 (new one, great fun)
M3 coupe 07 (drift)
Alfa Romeo TZ2 (on nurb, prize car)
Cappucino EA21R RM

Depends on what you like, but these are some of my choices. All of them are fun to drive. TZ2 is the best car in GT5. Not so fast, but awesome to drive

1. Extreme Events - Toyota MINOLTA (Dirty I know, but it really can't lose =p)
2. Curvy Tracks (Nurburgring) - BMW 2002 Turbo
3. Drag - Bugatti Veyron
4. Looks - Camaro Z28 RM
5. Muscle - Shelby GT350R
6. Best OVERALL Car - Corvette ZR-1 RM

Your 458 or your 430 Scuderia? I got both of them, and I like the Camaro RM better. 700 HP fully tuned, and handles so good that I would guess it´s european if I didn´t know better :) It seems faster in the corners. Check out the RKM tune.

If you want to try the cars, you can add me. Just remeber to write why. Not sure when I´ll be on next time.

Camaro SS? Not european, its made in canada.

1: I haven't beat all the extreme events, but my favorite car for these challenges for the most part is the Pagani Zonda R
2: Curvy: Fun/Easy to drive: Suzuki GSX/R, Fun/Easy to drive: VW Golf IV RM (best FF car in game, IMO), Fun/Challenging to drive Shelby GT-350R, Solid choice all around: Lotus 111R RM.
3: Drag, no clue, never tried it.
4: Zonda R, Viper ACR, GT-350R
5: GT-350R
6: By far the most versatile car in my collection: Lotus Evora (!). I can use this car for a variety of races, it has a versatile PP spread for online racing and it handles great.

Kalmaiya has prolly the best tune for the RM Camaro, though I don't have the link. It'd be well worth your time to give it a look. I'm down to a 1:10.1 on Deep Forest with it, and he's at a 1:09.3 or so

I´ll check it out if I find the link, and remember it next time I´m on. I have 3 Camaro RM, and 3 non RM, so I´ll test it :)

The Extreme hall calls for about six different cars but for what I have done I've used the PD F1.
2.Your GT-R V-Spec '09 or ZR1 '09 should be fine.
3.Drag I know nothing about..
4.TZ2 is a beautiful car however I also love the XJ13,XJ220 and F40.
5.Camaro Z28 RM '69 wins hands down, might be good for a Nurb' car aswell I don't know as I don't like the track very much.
6.Overall? Tough question..But I think GT-R V-Spec or 458 Italia.(I also like my TVR Tamora and Elise 111R aswell) Most of the cars I specified are either in the NCD or prize cars, the XJ220 would be found in the ucd.:)

As you can see it´s all about taste. I have recently started to buy and tune FF cars for Nurburgring. I think they are fun to drive. But i also drift most of the time. When you do A- and B-spec you win new cars. You just have to try different cars to see what you like. If you start to tune cars, you can setup almost every car to fit your driving style. I haven\t done that yet. I use RKM tunes on the cars I like.

JLawrence sent me it but top speed he has set at 183? WAT!

Nordschleife is a bit of an anomally in group of curvy tracks as it's really quite a fast track demanding power from the car with it's fast sweeping corners and uphill sections. Not at all similar to tracks like Eiger.

Ok guys i think i asked the rong question here. What is the best car (not how it looks) overall? Something that a lvl 26 can get to do events to earn cash and cars? And also best drag car (Fastest with accelaration) and best OLD muscle for drag or tracks like daytona? Can u help me out now? :)

1. Well it's what type of racing you like to do and how much power you want it a car but i'd have to say the Mazda 787B because it looks, sounds, and drives like a dream but then again it's an extremely quick car that many people online will not like unless they are doing races with those high powered machines but if you are racing offline then go with it.

2. The fastest drag car would probably be the Bugatti but then again this car is considered "cheap" and most will not respect the car unless other people in a lobby are running them.

3. The "best" old muscle IMO would have to be the '69 Camaro RM (race modified) but don't take my word for it because I've never owned one but I do hear about it quite a bit.

I hope I could help you out. 👍

IMO the Dodge Viper GTS-R Team ORECA Race Car is the best. I just bought it today (It really damage my 5,000,000 cred budget) and I beat the Panoz and the 2J on Laguna Seca untuned whilst I beat them on Indy with only the turbo changed (High RPM)! If you want a street legal one, it has to be the Nissan GTR.

Best car for drag? Veyron. If there is enough road to get it up to a high speed. Otherwise a lighter car might get it.

For the Extreme Series overall? Not really easy to pick. I'd say use the BMW M3 GTR Race Car for the German events, and the Ford GT LM Race Car Spec II for the American. Use the FGT for the rest (Apart from NASCAR. I can't do NASCAR...).

For curvy tracks it'd have to be the M3 GTR Race Car or Viper GTS-R Race Car. They handle well if they are ridgid and tuned well (I can help with that if you want). The FGT works well, if you can handle it. But it is a bit wide. And expensive.

Looks - Matter of opinion. The Mclaren MP4-12C looks cool in silver.

I don't really like old muscle cars. Sorry.

That's what I think. :)

JLawrence sent me it but top speed he has set at 183? WAT!

It's set for your generic road course. With the top speed set for 183Mph, you should be getting just to the red line at the end of the straight away, and allows for good acceleration through the twisties. Setting the top end higher will noticably detract from that, and thus raise your lap times. If you run a track like Fuji or Sarthe you would be better to bump it up to 220 or so to compensate for the extra long straight stretches.

Nobody said Mclaren f1:( oh someone did sry.

If the top speed is set too low for you, try to change the final gear (lower number). NOT change top speed
