I won't say much, because I share your preference for German cars, but when you are old enough to drive, the fact that Japanese cars are cheaper than German cars and much cheaper to fix, yet still as reliable, will probably make them appeal to you more.

Back on topic, I would have to say Pescarolo as my favourite race car dealer, however, it is impossible to exclude Toyota, as it produces the two fastest cars in the game, just look at my sig.

For road class, I would have to say BMW or Nissan, but really, buy from a dealer that suits your interests, if it's compact city cars, go for the low end of the respectable Japanese dealers:tup:

OK I want the names of 10 (Ten) Japanese cars that you can prove are made from cheap plastic and in an old Fish Factory.

Most Japanese cars are built to a very high standard in state of the art, purpose built factories in range of countries around the world.

Accept the fact that your statement was both incorrect and biased and move on.

Depending on how old you are talking the Micra was built in a state of the art factory (and the single most productive automotive plant in Europe) in Sunderland, it won European Car of the Year at launch and had a record for reliability that was the envy of many manufacturers.

However you said "most japanese cars are made of crap plastic in an old fish factory", thats are as in current, not were as in the past. Therefore even that point (your only one) is null and void.

BTW before you continue this you may want to check what industry I work in (profile), before arguing this one. A blanket statement as blindingly inacurate as yours will not win out, that I can assure you.

George, i know that it is hard to admit defeat sometimes. But now and then you just have to admit that you said something stupid that you aren't very educated on rather than proving your ignorance by trying to prove "your point."

Hey, we still like you here at GTPlanet. You said it yourself, you're young ... so you naturally have opinions that differ from us older guys. Your opinions will change as you get older and gain more knowledge. Take this topic as one of those 'gaining more knowledge' moments.

So far, BMW and Nissan are neck and neck with Honda and Toyota close on their tails. Hmm, ironically enough, those are all Japanese dealers.

Having owned both, worked on both and took both to track days ill give some of my notes.

German cars are superb! However they are built like tanks and they use 3 bolts and a lot of fancy fixers where one bolt and a washer would have done. Too heavy! loose a lot of their true speed potential.
Japanees cars. They had a hard time finding petrol in the second world war so their enginies had to be efficient! A japanese car is on average 10% more efficient than any other. The japanese are masters of simplicity. Ive tracked subaru, audi and vw. The subaru is the only one you can fit all the tools to repair it in a metal cantelever tool box!
Im not a big fan of Nissan though thesedays theyre excellent. I still remember back to when they were shipping cars to the UK and didnt understand the climate. They would rot from the inside out and the engine mounts had a habbit of falling off. More than one old Nissan had its engine fall out during a drive!
In Game i still avoid the nissans but thats mainly through boredom. Ive been playing since GT1 and ive won more skylines than you can shake a stick at! :guilty:
 
i Vote for everythign American 1 time.. So give Ford, Dodge, Chrysler, Pontiac, ect.. another tally a piece..
