Geez you guys went to town on that thing!

I'm finding that if I've had a particularly unpleasant day at work (i.e. over and above the base unpleasantness) and my conscience is playing up over the murder of hundreds of innocents in GTA3 that the bum-puckering action of Burnout is very relaxing.

I will admit the game has its faults (and whoever suggested it was better or even as good as GT3 doesn't get the 'car' thing at all) but it's good for a cheap laugh. Longetivity won't be a strong point, but hey, it's better than Lotus Challenge (now there's a game that sits on the back seat with its head out the window barking at strangers).

damn lotus challenge feels slower than driving an endurance race in a car with 61HP

unless of course you've played HALO

I hear that Halo isn't bad if you don't mind finishing a game in two days. ;)

FFX has peaked my interest as of late! And I'm sure it's gonna take more than a couple of days to finish! ;)

It's definately worth checking out. And if your without XBox, it's coming out on PC....;)

Halo .... same ole same ole. It appears that Microsoft rushed the delivery on Halo in order to have it launch with the XBox. In my opinion that was a horrible mistake. The game is sooooo lacking. Yeah it's pretty, yeah it's clean, yeah it's got a great engine. But the game is boring. The story mode lasts all of two days, a week on the most difficult setting. The multiplayer ... well multiplayer first person on a console has always sucked.

I did have fun playing 6 player Halo on two XBoxes. But it got old pretty quick. First person shooters beg for a keyboard and mouse.

Oh, to stay on topic. GT3 is incredible. It will take one heck of a racing game to beat it. I suspect GTN (GT4) will be the victor, but that's just more of the same. Hopefully it will have some cool new options and maybe a better menu layout. I hope they can widdle down the load times too.

Ahhh... good man. Do not fund the evil empire. Though ... Nintendo is marketed as a kids gaming console. But who doesn't love watching kid's cartoons? And Rogue Squadron is gonna rock! I gotta get my hands on some of that action.

to tide me over to Rogue Squadron 2 i got rogue squadron 1 on N64 and Star Wars Starfighter on PS2 (get starfighter it rocks and its cheap now in GAME in UK)

i played it at the Xperience in Covent Garden
