hotel california................. alalalala dodo dododododo thats a cool song, I dont like the original, only the acoustic

That's cause you weren't even born until after the Eagles broke up.
Most people (that rock) can SING the outro solo.

Blink 182- First Date

Pretty good.
I think because I have a vid of it put to Initial D I associate it with driving..

I have a problem with B182. They can't play the guitar or bass.

I can recite the song.
You got me there, :D
Come back when you can sing the outro solo, note for note. it is the most awesome, memorable guitar solo of all time (the original version).

Another good driving song is "Drivin' my life away" by Eddie Money (i think)
Then there's Sammy Hagar with "Heavy Metal" and "I can't drive 55".

The guitar outro??? Get lost, I've only been playing the the guitar for about 3 months I couldnt learn that stuff in that time!!

Although I have tried...

Klostrophobic your a D!(khead! besides have you seen the video for by the way. i think its alright to cruise by if you a crazy taxi driver and youve got a famous dude in the back seat!

wes need to think about this i mean its driving music!!! more than half the songs listed are slow oldie songs not stuff id want to listen to while crusin or racing or just being in a car at all may as well listen to macy grays realitin to a psycho path, i mean those songs are fine just they dont get me in the drivin mode/spirit, a good one is sublime-same in the end its faced paced fun and makes me drive faster

You will. And it will be the greatest "high".
It took me several weeks to get the intro for "Dead or Alive" by Bon Jovi. TAB is the bomb. I love the feeling of learning new stuff.
Also, after your finished playing your guitar, Soak the finger tips of your fretting hand in Witch Hazel. It takes out the sting. Then swab (don't drown) your new callouses with rubbing alcohol. It will harden your callouses faster.

Another driving song, as this covers "all time":
"No Particular Place to Go" by Chuck Berry.

:band:

Bet ya can't dance it the way Peter does!

That's a dangerous song to drive to - the driving bass makes me go faster and faster - thank goodness for cruise control...

driving songs for me would be
Nickleback - Never again
and
Tool - Schism

"Head Like A Hole" by Nine Inch Nails. Not uncommon for me to find myself doing about 90 during the chorus.

Bizkit's version of Gotta Have Faith is kind of cool, except for the fact that it's Bizkit.

best driving song of all time - Rage Against The Machine -- "Bulls On Parade"

Anything that is Led Zeppelin especially
Good Times Bad Times
I can feel my right foot getting heavier as I listen to it now!
