Does your skill for all levels get maxed out at 100%? If it does, I'll just wait till then.

im not sure as my skill levels were already maxed out before 100%, but i think they might as it says stats boosted, but as my stats were all full i didnt know what and how much got boosted

I've just got my Desert Eagle upto Hitman... and it kicks ass...

Very similar to the Colt Python in VC cept that you have to actually reload after each 7 shots (Unless you use the change weapons technique)

Next weapon to upgrade is the Combat Shotgun...

Oh yeah and by the way... I took over all the Ballas territories in LS before doing Grove 4 Life.... and then I had to take over another 4 again... (2 in the mission, 2 afterwards!) and does anyone know what the other yellow dot is that's in Idlewood after you complete it?

the best way to upgrade your weapons is to shoot the planes that spawn at the abondened airbase, or shoot cars. the planes work better as you get CR for it as well.

Not for me. The 3 stars got irritating. I found a quick, easy, no-cops way. I also had Zero Desert Eagle skill.

Go to your house in Grove Street. Make sure there's a car in the garage. When the Garage door opens, open fire until it catches alight (6 shots with the D'eagle). Run away and let the garage door close so it doesn't blow. Repeat this until you get Hitman. I got Hitman really quickly like this.

Every time you shoot something valid (Car, Bike, Person), it's 3 points. At least that's what it was with the Desert Eagle, and I assume so with the other guns. Headshots don't give extra points, nor does anything else.

But anyway, try that method, so much quicker than anything else I used.

It probably doesn't matter if it blows up either... in VC you could blow cars up in garages... then it would fix them when the door opens...

I am just loving the double pistols...I can't get enough of them....even if the double smg's are quicker, I just always use the pistols...like people have already stated though...double desert eagles would've been WAY TOO NICE

Yeah, but you always get 1 star. When you keep doing it, you'll get 2 stars, etc. So don't blow it up to avoid this.

It's a hassle-free way.

I've been using the Desert Eagle. I love that gun. Still doesn't beat the AK, but I love it. This is funny. I used to use only 2 guns on Counter-Strike. For the first round (or if I didn't have enough money) I would buy a Desert Eagle. When I had the money, I would buy an AK47. Now that's funny, because they are the only guns I really use in San Andreas now.

Prefer the M4 to the AK as it holds more rounds... altho I think the AK does more damage?!

I use M4 a lot, and the sachel charges, and some times the mp5 ( i know its not called that but you know what im on about), and the flame thrower is nice as well

I completely forgot about the flamethrower... I always find that I maim myself using that though... I haven't done firefighter yet so is always a bit dangerous!!!

The Satchel Charges are very cool. I thought they were a nice addition.

Also, I believe the AK47 does more damage than the M4. It might be just me, but that's how it seems.

I voted for the Desert Eagle(wish I could afford the real thing!).The killing power of it reminds me of the .357 revolver in Vice City(I have the real thing!).

Thats good because this thread is cool. My favorite gun is the Desert Eagle but i think the best gun is the M4.

If the desert eagle was a dual poor weak CJ wouldnt be able to shoot straight

The Dual Sawed-off Shotguns are very good for blowing up cars, but thats abour it because of the long reload time.

If you could get a no reload time ability like you could in VC, the sawed off shotguns would be so amazingly good. Since you can't though, I think the SPAS-12 (combat shotgun) is better.
The flamethrower (and molotovs) can be pretty fun when you're fireproof, but my favorate is still the minigun.
