Kents,

I can't believe you said Dracula! That's awesome!!! That's one of my favorite movies of all time also.

Honestly I can't pick my favorite, but in the top 10 are:

Bram Stoker's Dracula
Braveheart
The Lord of the Rings
Star Wars 5: Empire Strikes Back
Star Trek 2: Wrath of Khan
You've Got Mail
Fight Club
The Abyss

I'm sure there are some I'm forgetting.

Movies that I loved that I've seen so far:
pulp fiction
Casino
Godfather 1
Godfather 2
And yes Godfather 3
Taxi driver

And my all time favourite (and I know it's totally different from my other choices) Forrest Gump.
This movie is soooo good, the feelings you get when you watch it are just crazy. And I will admit now like a man, this is the only movie where I actually cried.

Damn, I missed this thread too. Here's a short list of my favorites:

Terminator 2
The Matrix
Saw - Fantastic movie, hope the second is one is good as well.
Kill Bill Volume 1
Friday Night Lights

In no particular order, of course.

Saleen: I didn't know there was going to be a sequel, I'll watch it.

Title reads "Best Movie Ever", but everybody's got a list, so here's my short list:

Seven Samurai
Seven Days In May(best Frankenheimer IMO)
Se7en
Matrix
You Only Live Twice
Bourne Identity
Trainspottings

I'm sure I forgot some. :D Props to everybody for great picks. It was very interesting read.

How could I forget! "Fifth Element" 👍

My little top 10, in no particular order

Cidade de Deus (City of God)
Requiem for a Dream
American History X
Casino
Fight Club
The Usual Suspects
Pulp Fiction
The Shawshank Redemption
A Clockwork Orange
American Beauty
Léon

Top 11 actually :)

A few of my favorites, in no order:
Groundhog Day
Blues Brothers
Pulp Fiction
Scarface
The Untouchables
The Distinguished Gentlemen (Best Eddie Murphy movie, period).
The Hunt For Red October
K-19 The Widowmaker
License to Kill
The Terminator

the orignal Gone in 60 Seconds, the one made in the 1970's, not the remake with Nicalus Cage.

Not much of a story but an has an excellent 47 minute chase where 93 cars were destroyed!

I forgot to add "Swingers" to my list. One of my all-time favorites. First movie I saw with Vince Vaughn in it, he's been going downhill since. :p It also introduced me to Ron Livingston, who became one of my favorite actors(he's Peter from "Office Space").

My favorite movie is most likely Blade Runner.

Other films I like:
Eraserhead
2001 a space odyssey
Monty Python's Holy Grail

To name a few. :)

For me it'd have to be these:
Forrest Gump
Full Metal Jacket
Scarface
Breakfast club

Pulp Fiction
Kill Bill vol 1
Matrix 1
Boondock Saints
Blackhawk Down

to name a few.

I could go on for hours, but my all time top three gotsta be:

1. The Fifth Element

2. War of the Worlds

3. The Day After Tomorrow

Well, 2 & 3 are always debateable, but 5th element is definately my favorite. Ever.

Way too many Favourites but here's two people would usually pass over ;

River's Edge
( Awesome , check Keanu Reeves first screen role , brilliant Hopper cameo )

Dead Man's Shoes
( 2004 film set in Wales , warning ; has deadliness )

I got Troy on DVD for Christmas. I’ve seen this movie at least 6 or 7 times and it’s still great IMO. 👍

ok, bar none, for me its Top Gun.

classic movie, has the best fighter jet ever in it, and i win...wait tjis wasnt a contest...oh well, i still win

Das Boat.

Closely followed by the Full Metal Jacket, the original Flight of the Phoenix, Apocalypse Now Redux and Eraserhead.

'
Doubler there^, BMW. U could tidy it.

But, agreed, FMJ is just pure grit of a war movie. Gomer Pyle & Joker post up about the soldiering psychosis. :tup:py
