Best music for driving?

I tend to listen to that sort of music when i'm racing, as well as stuff by Hybrid, The Crystal Method, Future Prophecies and Pendulum.

For the menu's I use Mr.Oizo's Analogue Worms Attack - chilled out techno with breaks.

And for racing, the entire works of the Chemical Brothers - fast paced electronic dance with good variety.

Sure beats GT5's original soundtrack. I can't fathom why they thought '21 seconds to go' would be a good thing for anyone to hear when racing. I get the sentiment behind the choice, but man is that one hell of a lame tune. Made me quit practice runs so many times out of disgust up until I got around to putting my mp3 collection on my PS3 after I did a 320GB upgrade.

I went with instrumental music as not to distract me too much :)
 
I wish we can change individual songs for individual menus. And even change the race finish music.

My playlist was mostly classic rock, Alternative, a little hip hop, techno and trance, and themes from Initial D. I found some of the best race music though from the Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune games, they all have great tempo for when you're in the heat of battle.

I love Hip Hop, but can't listen to it when driving. Doesn't get me "in the zone."

Why ac/dc?? The worst and most annoying band ever. Otherwise all good choices.
 
I'm the techno kind of guy, so I go with deadmau5, Eric Prydz, Kaskade, etc.

Here's one of my favorite songs for GT5.

 
For me, it depends on the type of race, the car, and the situation, which is why my custom playlist has over 120 songs spawning from over 10 different genres on it.
