Best muic for driving depends on the person.

You can be like the stig and listen to random things or like James May and listen to classical.

I listent to soundtacks from games, TV shows.

My current playlist which i have set to random is.

GT1
GT4
Some of GT5
Need for Speed 2
Need for Speed 3 Hot Persuit
Need for Speed 4 High Stakes
Need for Speed Hot Persuit 2(Need for Speed 6)
Initial D
Unreal Tournament 3

Quick question, what option setting do you guys use? Beacuse any setting I have tried I can barely hear the music, any suggestions?

Kaiser Chiefs-Never miss a beat
Has to be something with a similar beat from the drums as this song. Perhaps something by the rolling stones or kasabian. I can't stand metal so I couldn't drive with that on

Black Sabbath, Supernaut (Duh), War Pigs, Snow Blind, Hole in the Sky
Old Metallica, Kill'em All thru Black Album
Megadeth, Rust in Peace, The World needs a Hero
Slayer, Seasons in the Abyss, Reign in Blood
Pro-pain, The Beast is Back, One Man Army
Anthrax, Persistance of Time
Arch Enemy, Anthems of Rebellion, Doomsday Machine
Motley Crue, kickstart my heart
Hatebreed, I will be Heard

Numerous others, all metal

Metal and old 80's pounding dance music.
And car songs.
Rush-Red Barchetta
Ministry-Jesus built my hotrod
Motley Crue-Kickstart my heart
Judas Priest-Heading out to the highway

Haha.

Well, in all seriousness, I really like Junkie XL's Today album. Works very well. Chicane and Underworld sometimes, also.

Just a Day and Buck Rodgers for re-living the days of GT3
Too much Too young Too fast for muscle car
Ghosts 'n' Stuff for tracks like SSR7
Moon over the castle and Panama because simply, why not! :)

The Lion King soundtrack.

Honestly, my racing music is all the Bosanova, Classical, Jazz and Lounge music from the game plus the techno songs they don't use in races by default.

I listen to Amon Amarth (Twilight of the thunder god)

A lot of Dub step xD

I find bands like Chevelle and Crossfade to be good bands to listen to for driving.

And Of coarse some metal. Ex: Ratt, Metallica, Motley Crue, and Black Sabbath.
